  1. 2024 Mustang sales lowest in history of Mustang

    ^ I like this guy ... 🫡
  2. Downshifting with paddle shifters while in auto

Because I don't have a (human) left leg to operate the clutch on a manual transmission vehicle.
  3. Downshifting with paddle shifters while in auto

If you use the paddles while in Drive, it's only temporarly. It eventually revert to normal automatic mode (if you maintain a constant speed and don't shift). In M (manual) mode, it stays in the selected gear until you change it, with a few exceptions, such as if you slow down/stop while in a...
  4. Financing your pony

Ask those who paid cash for a $65K+ vehicle how old they are. I bet the vast majority are old farts like me. Most "younger" folks don't have that kind of savings (or discretionary income and/or enough time spent saving to save that much). According to statista.com, over 80% of all new 2024...
  5. Stuff you want Ford to fix in the next software update

Things I want: Install an "anti-whine" feature in the driver's seat. While mine doesn't need this, there are far too many Mustangs being sold that clearly need such a feature.
  6. Still on 4.0.23151 - Should i visit a dealer? (OTA not.. OTA'ing)

$575 USD on Amazon.com Amazon.ca says $801, so I assume that's CAD dollars. Good luck with that
  7. Forward Facing Camera

You do. It uses WiFi by broadcasting it's own SSID (just like a WAP). You can only be connected to one at a time.
  8. Forward Facing Camera

Been running these cheap cams as backup cams on our SXSs for many years. How do you plan on triggering it on/off? We use a toggle switch. The you have to wait 10 seconds and connect via WiFi after opening the camera app on a tablet or phone. Which means disconnecting you phone from Sync. No a...
  9. 2025 GT center resonator

Both are considered crossover pipes. Don't expect either to add gobs of power on thier own. They won't. By themselves, people typically do them for the change in sound/pitch. To see much change while making exhaust only changes, you're needing long tube headers, cat delete, resonator delete (X...
  10. Need Advice with Massive Paint Gouging.

That couldn't possible have a negative effect on aerodynamics and fuel mileage, right?
  11. 2026 Shelby GT500 w/ “Legend” Engine Confirmed in UAW Document

If you don't understand the difference between how a DCT works and how a standard automatic transmission works, you really should learn. Each time a standard auto transmission changes gears, there is a moment where the engine and transmission are disconnected from one another. Think: shifting a...
  12. 2025 GT center resonator

H-Pipe is mostly for the old school muscle car sound and just a wee bit of low end torque. X-Pipe is a better choice for a wee bit of higher RPM HP and torque (not much), but it will sound a bit "raspy". Those who track thier cars typically go X-Pipe. I plan on going H-Pipe.
  13. 2024 Dark Horse Mustang Digital Screen Replacement

It's just a long touchscreen monitor. All the computing is done outside of the screen.
  14. Are there rear shock shipping spacer blocks on the Dark Horse?

They left them in the fronts on my '24 DH. I highly doubt they took them out of the rears and left the fronts in, so ...
  15. Need Advice with Massive Paint Gouging.

There are some days that I swear I'm going to stop even logging on to these forums. Driving cars at speed on roads full of other cars, trucks, and semis means all kinds of roadway debris are going to be thrown up in the air and back at your vehicle. This happens with EVERY vehicle. Doesn't...
  16. Rear Defroster Damaged by Dealership's Tint Guy..

The manufacturer is NOT going to do a buyback because a tint guy a dealership hired cut your rear windows defroster. Your issue is with the dealership, not the manufacturer.
  17. Financing your pony

Nope. When my sports cars are stored for the winter, I remove liability and collision, leaving only comprehensive coverage for theft, fire, and other non-collision damages. My credit unions (I belong to two) are perfectly OK with this. The premium for comprehensive only on my 2024 DH in...
  18. Deal Too Good To Be True?

Plenty of reasons to explain this. Divorce. Job loss. Death. Accident or health reasons after purchase preclude you from driving it. Failure to do due diligence before buying. Lied about driving record to get insurance, they ran your driving record and your insurance premium doubled...
  19. Need new tires

    I'm a big fan of Cheng Shin tires . . . . . . . . . . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
