  1. Mustang S650 Design Previewed by ‘Progressive Energy In Strength’ Sculpture

The only thing I really don't like on this concept is the single grille. I think the design would look much more Mustang if they would split up the grille horizontally. It looks much more of an evolution of the Mach-E design, than a successor of the imho better looking Mach 1 frontend. Back...
  2. Mustang S650 Design Previewed by ‘Progressive Energy In Strength’ Sculpture

How can they copy the 15 Mustang, if their own predecessor of the same model has this styling.... 65 Mustang Fastback did not invent the fastback look. Even in 1960 there were cars like Aston Martin DB4 or Volvo P1800 that already had the fastback look. Mustang did invent the Pony car, which...
  3. Mustang S650 Design Previewed by ‘Progressive Energy In Strength’ Sculpture

But we kind of already see that line on the S550 :) That rear in general seems to pretty similiar than the S550 with just a bit more angular and sharp lines. In the upcoming days I will have a rendering how this concept will looks as a real car
  4. Mustang S650 Design Previewed by ‘Progressive Energy In Strength’ Sculpture

Oh please, not that bs again. It's just a basic coupe form! Guess they all copied the 2012 BMW 6 series (the 8 series is the successor of it)? Oh wait, they all must have copied the 2004 AM DB9!? It's just how 2 door coupes look like. The Mustang did not invent this design. In fact the S550...
  5. Mustang S650 Design Previewed by ‘Progressive Energy In Strength’ Sculpture

Awesome find. I really like what they did here. Has a lot of Mach-E elements, but it's still looking like an evolution of Gen 6. Reminds me of the PB18 e-tron concept form Audi
  6. S650 2023 Mustang Chief Engineer / Program Director is Michael Celetino

Of course a regular Mustang is not in competition to a C8. But if you go into a Mach 1, PP2 and the Shelbys you will clearly in a price range where a C8 may be an option. Besides just having 2 seats the cargo space in the c8 is as good as in the Mustang (C8 12.6 vs Mustang Conv 11.4 and...
  7. Rumor [Autocar]: 2023 Mustang will be AWD Hybrid V8 (in Europe Only)

This is bascially in line with what Fords Darren Palmer told me in an short interview, that to his understanding all ICEs will become Hybrids in the future. Ford will not leave the EU market for the Mustang, they sell well to good here (in Germany it's always in the top 5 sportscars sales...
  8. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

They also said everything that looks like metal in the S550 interior is metal - Which is definitely not true
  9. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

I guess Mach 1 will have a lot of customers buy the 2nd refresh. But imagine Mustang7 having an hybrid powertrain for better acceleration it will easily be worth the wait. But I really hope S650 will look like a brand new generation and not just as some minor tweaking. I am kind of worried that...
  10. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

I think the lastest rumor was that S650 is going to CD6 platform. If that's true I doubt there will be a huge weigth saving since the car would grow bigger But I also heard that S650 could stay on the same platform as S550, which would also mean no huge weigth savings.
  11. S650 Mustang launches in 2022 as 2023MY reveals Ford Linkedin post

Somebody will be in trouble for this linkedin entry  Especially with the 2nd refresh for MY2021 buyers shoulld really be aware that they could get a whole new Mustang generation two years later
  12. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

With the huge success in europe and other export markets I doubt that we see a retro inspired 7th Gen Mustang. I expect that they continue what they did with the facelift and making it look even more like a european coupe with softer lines and a low hood. Like a two-door A5 sportsback styling...
  13. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

This is looking horrible. Who wants such a distracting piece in front of yourself? If you make a HUD it should be projected onto the window like in Chevys cars.
  14. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

I agree. A lot of people complain about the small rear seats or the trunk on modern ponys, but still I would always prefer to have that than what most other sportscars are doing where basically you can't even buy beverages for the whole week in it. I want to drive for fun, but still I want to be...
  15. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

I think the 18 front already is going more into the modern sportscoupe and less into the muscular appearance, That's why it's looking worse than before imho. Flat hood, low frontend, very wide grille, sorry but that styling can others do way better than Ford - Saw the BMW Z4 and 8 Series...
  16. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

I hope not, Pony cars should stay true to their heritage with a more angular and strong appearance. We have more than enough rounded sport coupes
  17. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

Ok, it was kind of misleading that they showed the S550 clay model as an example that they use VR now. But I think a clay model is important since it's giving a way better way to see how it will look in Person as VR and AR still have Limits in Terms of Resolution, graphic fidelity at real time...
  18. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

They are finally doing what other companies do for years? :D You should also take a look at the Human Race stuff from Chevy, which is a step further than looking through AR glasses at the polygon model [ame]
  19. Mustang Hybrid (S650) Announced, Debuts in 2020

I think the lastest Information was that it's delayed to a launch in 2021, but I guess we just have to wait until the first Gen 7 mules will be spotted :D
  20. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

I dont think getting the leader of Ford Europes Design is a good thing. Just take a look at the new Fiesta, it's ugly as hell  At least the design for the 7th Gen should already be set, so this shouldn't affect it
