I think you have it backwards. AS/S defaults to on and the button is not lit up. When you press the button and it lights up, that is turning it off. Keep in mind AS/S doesn't always work, such as the engine isn't warmed up or the heat or A/C needs the engine running.
I'm glad we can leave the lane keeping system off as I always do. I just don't like how reacts. We haven't had an issue with the keyless locking/unlocking, but I always use the key fob to lock as a habit. Frontal collision assist is finicky, even at the lowest following distance. Lately I've...
The gear ratios are the same, they just rounded to 2 decimals for the DH and 3 decimals for the GT. Yeah, the engineer in me caught that right away. :)
Midnight Blue Metallic and auto transmission. I'm having my original diff assembly rebuilt while I'm running a used one. Should have it back soon to swap back in, just new bearings and seals, stayed with the 3.42 gears.
I've had my 2005 GTO for 11 years and daily drive it, with just about 195k miles on it. I'm still upgrading it here and there, installed Pedders adjustable coilovers all around last fall, currently rebuilding used rear control arms to swap out with mine. Also have new front lower control arms...
I'm glad we optioned for the spare tire for my wife's car. I've had one in my previous car and current car and used it once for each of them. Sure, I have AAA and can have it towed home, but it's faster for me to change out the tire instead of waiting an hour or so.
Left the Mustang in the garage while I shoveled 4" of snow topped with 3" of sleet and 1" of ice from the driveway. Wife's work was closed today and is closed tomorrow and Wednesday, but we might take it out tomorrow evening as the roads are clear already.
My wife's Mustang will hit that sometime in 2027. It's her daily driver and the car we go out in all the time. It already has close to 1700 miles since we got it in late November, and it sat for a week after Christmas when we went on a cruise. She probably averaged 12k/year in the minivan...
This is probably true, as you can practically build an entire Tri-five with new parts as well as put a new modern-design frame and put it under an OE body, fitted with disc brakes and coilovers all around.
On my '87 Camaro (almost 20 years) and '05 GTO (11 years), I got my best even tire wear at about 1 deg. of negative camber. Any less and it wore the outside edge of the front tires faster. I put 10k miles/year on my car, so that's a lot of tire miles. Best all-season tires I've had for...
Welcome to the forum and the US! If you have heated/ventilated seats, it should be a Premium. The Performance Package includes staggered 19" wheels with summer tires, drift brake, front tow hook, and a bunch of suspension upgrades.
The insurance for ours is about $1500/year through State Farm. We have our house and multiple vehicles insured through them, so we get a discount for that, plus clean driving records for everyone.
You're half right. My wife chose that color as she didn't like any of the 2025 colors and loves teal. She's about twice the age of a 26 year old but thankfully doesn't look like it. :)
We were out in my wife's Mustang yesterday evening for dinner and shopping, so now it's been exposed to snow with only 1400 miles on it. :) We got less than an inch and it wasn't sticking to the roads.
