I have a '14 with the close ratio set-up. 5th being 1:1. I like it SO much more than the newer gearing. And same for the gearing in my 2002 GT. Hella wide.
LMFAO. That looks like the current one, only really shitty.
I've said it before. FORD needs to go big this time. It's their big chance with the Camaro dying and the Dodge Bros. going all electric. The last Hurrah of the GAS V8 Mustang.
Ford "Herm, let's put some Hyundai Headlights on it...
OP says MY23 cars will start production in March 23.
I say I liked it when new MY cars were available in the Fall the year before.
You say that MY65 cars were built in April 64. If they had 64 vins you might have a point (60 years past) Or if they turn out to be MY24 cars built in March of...
Man, I really liked it when new cars came out in the fall for the next model year.
Makes me wonder how long a production run lasts? If 2022 MY starts production in Jan, I doubt they'd run past December, mostly because it would mean making a '22 car in 2023. So March thru Dec is 10 months...
That profile pic is of a scoop or vent or something, got a black running Mustang on it. You can see a good bit of detail if you blow it up and lighten it.
I can't tell what part it is.
Very exite.
My wife bought a Volvo XC-60 T8 recharge a month or so ago. Was driving back from LA just this weekend and mentioned to her (like she could give a shit) that I hope there's a Hybrid V8 in the next Stang.
That Volvo has a 2.0L 4 banger with a turbo charger and a supercharger. Supercharger...
Wonder if we could see the rumored (or not, some union said they were building it) 6.8 aluminum version. Lighter for the GT, and a shorter deck...sounds neat.
I've always thought that the GT was a bit lame with the V6. I'm a V6 hater, I'll just say it. Don't care how much power it makes...
Agreed. The only reason would be to keep a V8 for people that want it.
My wife has an Expedition, with the F-150 tune 3.5. That thing is spry as hell. Great engine, only problem is it has only six cylinders. An esoteric problem.
There's also teh cost/complexity issue. See where ford went...
I don't get why the world on fixated on the number of cylinders when it comes to "killing the V8".
Ford makes a 3.5, 3.0. 2.7L V6s. Make a 3.5L V8, makes a 2.7L V8. I don't care, long as it's got eight pots.
Displacement is want we're talking about, just make a smaller V8.
I still think a...
I just skipped to the end here, but..
Ill be happy when I never see ole Carroll's name on a Mustang again.
Bring back the Cobra and take the licensing fee off the price.
NASCAR will not/cannot show anything before Ford lets them. I'd imagine that any NASCAR body that's modeled after the '23 Mustang would not be shown before FORD officially releases the new design. The body for the '22 season will be based off the current Mustang. No doubt.
We all know how...
