That's like, your opinion, man.
And the guy that said that as Chris Bangle from BMW who got lambasted for his forward thinking designs, which I think - especially looking back - were waaaay ahead of their time.
And you bring up a hood example with the new M3/4 cars and that grille.
I like it...
Along with others more qualified than myself, I feel that a design that you accept as attractive upon first sight is already old and dated.
To be truly new and different, a design needs to not use currently employed design cues. It should shock the senses when you first see it.
IMO.
I have a '14 with Brembo package. The brake dust if a frikin PITA. And the pads last 20,000 miles.
They do work and feel great.
My cousin has a '14 Track Pack and he's gone to ceramic pads. His wheels are always hella clean.
I'm at about 45k miles, almost time for my third set of pads...
Didn't know that. I can't imagine mine in 20deg or 10 or zero degree weather.
I double cluch it, like an old truck and it shifts. I bet some good fluid would help.
Too lazy.
Does FORD have to certify (epa, mpg or whatever) each engine with each transmisison?
So would adding a second manual option to the 5.0 require separate certs? I would imagine.
These days it would seem they'd just go with one and pass the added cost on.
I have an MT-82 - and It's great...
By bringing up the Corvette, I wasn't implying there should be a mid-engine Mustang. I don't want that. Not a Mustang, like the Muck-y isn't a Mustang.
I only meant that they changed the heck out of the Corvette.
All I'm asking for is major sheet metal and interior changes. Not an...
It better. This is their chance. Camaro/Challenger/Charger dead as we know it.
Corvette went huge.
They gotta do something besides new squintier headlights and "aggressive" tail lights.
Something.....besides that.
It really looks like they've "clipped" the corners on the rear, above the tail lights.
In my opinion, the ass end of the current model looks way too wide and "out there"
I also don't like that it has a wider track in the back that the front. Makes it look even wider.
So if they're trimmin' dat...
Any chance that they use the 7 speed manual, like the Tremec in the Bronco?
I know in my car, a 2014, the rpm drop between 5th (1:1) and 6th is huge, and it happens to be right where you are at rpm wise on the freeway. If that 6th gear was made a little lower (same rpm drop as gears 1-4) and a...
Yeah, WTF is that rear light tunnel thing. The rest of it looks believable, that part is like, from outer space. Never seen anything like that on any mustangs.
It doesn't have to be the fastest car (like the base GT - have hotter models like COBRA, etc)
We all had just as much, if not more fun in our Fox bodies back in the day. If you're old enough to have been there.
If I could design the thing, it would be smaller, lighter, with cheap base models...
I don't want an AWD mustang. That certainly makes it more of a "sports car" than a muscle/pony car or whatever it is.
I would be interested in a V8 with an electric motor between the engine and transmission.
And if it had a plug in capability for 25 miles or so that would be cool. Like my...
