The flat bottom gives you room between the wheel and you torso/legs. It is necessary in a race car. For our cars it’s mainly about appearance. It could also be more comfortable if you drive with your hands on the bottom.

I'm kinda with you on that. My plan was to keep my 19' GT/CS for ten years. If 2027 is actually the last year of the S650 and we know for sure it will be the last V8 I'll take a look at it. If not I'll wait.

Actually we do agree on a lot, just from different directions. Honestly who of us doesn't want the ultimate Mustang? That's all @9secondko is asking for. I'm just more of a realist and know that at this point in time it is unlikely we are going to get it. But who knows what the later S650's...
