A Mustang hybrid, yes. A V8 hybrid unlikely. The car would still need the the V8 to drive the rear wheels. That would require the hybrid motors (1 or 2) to be up front. The weight balance would be totally off. Now you could use a transaxle like the GTD but then the cost would be prohibitive...
