The MIchelin Pilot Alpin 5 are not studded. But they are far, far superior to any A/S tire in extreme cold and deep snow. The Conti’s are great tires but they have their limits.
There was absolutely no way Jaguar could have continued as a low to mid level luxury brand. The current customer base has not, cannot, and will not support the brand. So without support they have to try something different/drastic to survive. Will they succeed? Well I certainly hope so.

Former owner and life long fan here. I also fear that for all intents and purposes the brand is going the way of all the other famous British marquees. Could the new direction work? I certainly hope so but it needs to be very special at the price points they’ve announced...
