hoping but did not test / verify the alarm doesnāt go away as well.
Doesnāt seem to be charge state since greeting didnāt reactivate once the battery reached 100% and went into maintenance mode.
The battery may have but the car did not.
I think the first time we got the remote features...
Understood. Although not sure. Was built on 8/16/23. Received the remote features disabled after a 600+ mile drive. In fact received the message twice during that trip (both the following morning after a morning greeting).
Iāve charged the batt at least twice now so yeah most likely a bum...
More like a continuation with a notice of behavior as a result.
weāve received the āremote featuresā disabled message a couple of times (and admit have yet to visit the dealer - summer only tires and what not blah blah).
since the greeting and the pony projection arenāt really āremoteā...
^ as in: once you receive the remote features disabled message in fordpass and you bring the battery back up to full charge but have not started / driven the car the greeting and pony projection remain non operational until start / drive?
Which was meant by the reselect the radio station I left it on remark.
seems we have the ability but the āconvenienceā factor has some sort of regulatory requirement.
Interestingly enough the āoptionā exists and can be considered a default as long as the setting is made. Just a tad inconvenient having to reselect the radio station I left it on each time.
The complexity of the system is dwarfed by the efforts expended on clean fuels? Iāve only heard politicians declare emissions are a human rights issue so if youād like to discuss control we can. Otherwise letās proceed with the need for an option.
No[t] really. Been around since it was found but I digress.
just weird we have to deactivate a function that is intended to disrupt the function of the initial action. Start then stop the stop of stopping the start?
Then why the on/off switch to start with? So weāre āluckyā they are permitting us the ability of override their control. Wow you said a lot with those statements.
If the message is accurate (not saying it aināt) cars are artificially getting intelligent. The car seems to be saying an electric wire / circuit is either unplugged or melted / broken and it even lets the tech know which line. Dang. Smart it is. š
btw: good luck.
While, as others have said, most likely battery. Granted one should not need but has anyone tried a reboot when they experience this type of issue? Since it seems to have enough power to start iām wondering if rebooting (and or disconnecting the neg line from the batt for 30 seconds) helps...
Instead of requiring us to acknowledge we are not the driver each time motion is detected a user selectable default setting should be an option. Oh wait not talking about āmobileā phone talking about an āengineā which by its very name is intended to do what?
But why you buying it it if it aināt what you want? Granted it could be better but until we get a sucker for a manufacturer that aināt gonna happen.
