What speed when applying brakes? How sternly are brakes pressed. Aggressive braking may result in sudden shifts Depends on how it gets locked in place what will happen upon startup and release of parking brake. Cool, np, not everyone is lucky enough to be able to park on a perfectly flat zero...

Forwards i can almost understand but backwards is a mystery. Just to kinda try to help the troubleshooting: what angle or incline is it being parked on, simply trying to clear assumptions.
