Good choice. The Trofeo RS are horrible at anything under 50 degrees. I enjoyed them all summer, though, and well into the fall, whenever it was not raining.

Yipes, it was 19° this morning when I got in the car (both on the weather channel and on my dashboard). 😳
Hrmph. 😠
Well, nothing to be done. I have to be somewhere.
I felt the tire. It was rock hard. I felt the all season OE tires on the Explorer, too. Also rock hard. 🤔 I am sure...
Since then I did encounter a guy on TrackMustangs who ran a boosted (positive displacement blower) three valve Ford engine who said in his opinion, "Yes, e85 runs cooler. No debate about it. It also lets you run more ignition timing so you make more power. It’s also less than half the cost of...
Well, he claimed it was quieter than the stock resonator, if I recall correctly. Plus, it is three inch piping, as opposed to the two and one quarter inch reduced pipe size of the stock resonator, which has to be worth a little horsepower at 7,000 rpm.
What if you cut the hole at the top of the strut ?
Can you get 3.5° then?
The camber plate slots are limited (you can see it in the picture above), but do you run into interference at the edge of the strut hole before you run out of room with the slots in the camber plate?

Conditions 36°. Dry asphalt.
(1) Experiment # 1. Cold tires.
After the gym, at like 6 a.m., 36° F, the engine still...
How long did it take you to do it yourself, and did it require tools that I am unlikely to have from working on cars born in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and less so, 90s?
While this is definitely neat, what would this tell you while on the track that would be useful? The temperature at the TPMS does not really have anything to do with the tire tread face.
Your left testicle should definitely be preserved, sir.
Wow. Did you actually weigh this car? That is startlingly heavy. I was thinking it ought to come in just under 4,000 lbs, and that this was quite heavy enough (big, fat pig heavy). Is it really more than 400 lbs more?
