Thanks everyone for the help. It looks like it boils down to "Modern Spare" or "Automotive Authority". Not sure which is the best. Any information on that appreciated.
Automotive Authority is shipping a little late and is sold out of jacks. They need some spares.......
There goes another...
What exactly would you have Ford replace all that plastic with?
I have a 25 year old Toyota downstairs that is mostly plastic inside, a 4 year old Toyota that is mostly plastic inside and much of it is outside, a Honda that is mostly plastic inside and a lot outside, a Mustang filled inside...
LIke it or not, computized cars are here to stay. I like my old Tacoma's dials and knobs better but those days are over with new cars. I decided that I would have to be the one to adapt if I want any kind of new car.
Just use PUP or any full synthetic and forget about it. It's your car so you can put anything you want in it. My dealer likes blend too but I just told them they're wrong for my car and they put what I wanted in it.
I have never believed in synthetic blends because you don't know what...
To me, that little compressor and tire sealant system isn't exactly confidence inspiring if/when needed. I know it's lighter in weight but most cars won't be raced, and I doubt gas mileage would be affected by a real spare.
Anyone here had to use the system and was the outcome successful or...
I would like to see GM make a Camaro comeback. Ford always needs competition but, never, in a thousand years would I ever buy another GM product. GM products are for other people, definitely not me.
GM has their hands full on a recall of "only" 600,000 defective V8's. Yeah, they need a...
Ford has apparently fixed this problem on newer deliveries. Mine doesn't have the holes and was delivered to me in mid-May. I have seen some pretty good "covers" out there to address this problem. I was concerned about it until mine came in with no holes in the liner. Good luck in getting...
Black one on the showroom floor at Harbin Ford in Scottsboro, AL.
They will deal with you, IF you know how to negotiate. They aren't THAT far away from you.
My finder's fee: only 15%........

Rather than start a new thread, has anyone used those license plate "covers" that are supposed to make "red light and stationary speed radars" not be able to read your plate"?
So, the questions are: do they work and has anyone had a cop stop them for using them?
Nice looking car. Can't go wrong with silver. As you can see, red is still around. I had a 2007 GT that some asshat caused me to total or die in it. She paid for that stupidity dearly as she should have.
Enjoy that hot-rod. Oh, and no matter how you break in your car, someone here will...
Good to know, thanks for sharing! Waze is pretty good to use where there is traffic, as in interstates and busy enough roads to have enough other people using Waze.
I would tell you not to do it, unsafe, illegal, etc... it's your car, your money, your possible ticket, your possible denied insurance claim, blah, blah, blah... 😂
Don't you want to see where you're going and for other people to see you at night? They aren't cool either. You asked for it...
Thanks for the enlightenment. I can see that would be nice to have and use in that context.
And, BTW, I am not a "Bro". My handle is very visible. Thanks, I just hate that term.
