Questions spur responses btw: why are you attempting to change my statement? Gasohol.
  2. E85 Tune Results on stock S650 Mustang GT 5.0

    Why you running an e85 tune when it’s 75 - 83 gasohol?
  3. E85 Tune Results on stock S650 Mustang GT 5.0

Odd you say it’s reliable when you also say it is a range
  4. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Decent feedback of an opinion, thanks for keeping it civil.
  5. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Although get walked from a roll and maybe even launch for some? drivers choice may result in faster in every circumstance for the driver not necessarily the car.
  6. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Does this imply the rev-match function will eventually wear out?
  7. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Push button pilot is more hang on with both hands than interactive participation engagement. but yeah for the fun of it, isn’t that the whole point of manual mode anyway? the shifter could have the same 1-5 (do we really need two overdrives, 6th would switch back to auto mode … ) pattern and...
  8. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

So almost a clutchless manual but uses computer logic instead of human. i wonder what’s preventing them from using the manual shifter in automatic mode? edit: as in, automatic with manual shifter that uses every other, makes a 10 speed a 5 speed type of thing. Slide the shifter to ā€˜d’ for...
  9. E85 Tune Results on stock S650 Mustang GT 5.0

Better block bolts. If it’s rocking that much the ghost cam became reality.
  10. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

The easiest example is the manual 6 to 4 drop and punch. In a manual rolling along in 6th (would be 10 for the automatic) and all of a sudden, for a wild hair, the driver drops down to 4th and punches it. In the automatic that would be like going from 10th to 7th and flooring it. Since you...
  11. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Nice, i take back half of the bad things i’ve inferred. Does skip down with aggressive pedal result in near instantaneous upshift?
  12. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Thanks ā€˜double tap’ could come in handy with an auto. now the automatic guys can count gears like us manual guys but need both hands in order to pull it off. Is the skip a gear or two rev range set by the computer or does it lock it out and only permit if it deems appropriate?
  13. Installing a 125v plug (replace the cigarette lighter outlet with an 110 outlet?)

I (or i should say we) have actually done the inverter powered laptop work from the road while in motion (driver isn’t working of course but passenger is hotspotting away) version implementation. I just can’t think of any reason for the 12v power port cigarette lighter style other than for that...
  14. Installing a 125v plug (replace the cigarette lighter outlet with an 110 outlet?)

Only if it’s current (bah dah bing -lol), some / most of the older portables still use 110 (i know it’s just a common phrase for use not specifically) but the same question could be applied to the 12v plug, fuzz buster?
  15. Automatic or 6-speed - honest feedback

Hard to skip a gear when you have to select sequentially
  16. Installing a 125v plug (replace the cigarette lighter outlet with an 110 outlet?)

Just to add not to question or counter: if you wanna know about inverters check into solar. Not the power your home solar but the off grid shed solar. The inverter is the same just how it’s powered that is different, either a battery bank or an engine (alternator). It wouldn’t be bad if they...
  17. Jim Farley's response to Corvette team "game on" - GTD vs. ZR1X 🄊

I just don’t see monster mayhem returning to the pocket size gt anytime soon. That little eboost makes quite the statement in itself. Unless you’re going full on new form just don’t see it. Now a mythical mustang using a monster motor sure why not. A blade is not a sledge.
  18. 5 Reasons Why The Base Mustang GT Is Better Than The Darkhorse!

I’m thinking the reference was to a they instead of a he.
  19. Jim Farley's response to Corvette team "game on" - GTD vs. ZR1X 🄊

For some reason I don’t suspect they’ll be going larger in the gt anytime soon
  20. Jim Farley's response to Corvette team "game on" - GTD vs. ZR1X 🄊

Because the mustang is an everyman’s car and the vette is apparently an ā€˜engineers’ device? But yeah, dunno, hopefully the board perceives the benefit of performance competition and king of the hill sales. Folks are still talking about that manual viper so why not go for it ford?
