Got the same thing last November. It means your battery is on its way out. I had the mobile service replace mine under warranty. All scheduled through the app. Just follow the prompts. If you get that message and your car is still under warranty you get a new battery no questions asked.
Agreed. There is an option to turn off data sharing right in the settings. But I don't even think insurance can use that. There is no way an insurance company can be tracking your car driving habits without your knowledge. There has to be more to this story.
Ok I disconnected the car battery for 30 mins and everything is back to normal. It did reset all of the my color settings BTW
Now it says this when I go to software updates. Its doesn't say I have one pending so I assume this is the most current version???
Well now im annoyed. I cant even check the software status inside the car without getting this message that never ends.
So, the app software status doesnt work, the website software status doesnt work, and now the cars software status doesnt work. I have no way of knowing what version of...
Sounds like maybe you have a bad forward camera sensor or it needs calibration. Probably needs to be checked by your dealer.
But if thats enough to make you rant like an 11 year girl and want to trade your car in on an inferior model and take a huge financial hit in doing so, then maybe just...
No, i mean trying just turn on the auto update option on the app doesnt work. It just buffers endlessly and goes back to off. Disconnecting my phone battery isnt gonna help lol.
Ford never sticks to its published time lines. Both the S550 and S650 were supposed to come out years earlier than they did.
Also Ford Authority is not owned or operated by Ford. Its just another enthusiast page. Nothing they print should be taken as gospel.
On the website it just says my software hasn't been updated for 90 days and doesnt show a history or current version. ☹️
Somehow the app says my auto updates where turned off. I know for a fact I set them to on, and they were on when I checked a few weeks ago. When I set it to "on" nothing...
Easier way to tell is to check under the spare tire. If you car is set up with a tow hook receptical, the hook should be under there with the spare tire kit.
