Iān leaning toward disconnect the negative and then use a tender if desired. The battery management system (bms) may benefit from a reset when using a tender.

I guess bagging the bcm is out of the question? As in putting a waterproof covering around the bcm (box with board) and then, if detected, backtrace any water but otherwise the bcm itself would be protected.
Grabbing just enough bite to overcome gravity and create momentum (and then fully pressing the pedal - so we donāt create the engaged/disengaged confusion) is perfectly fine.
You can but the timing has to be oh so right.
Is op sitting at an angle? Might be hitting the edge of the gate (pulling toward the seat instead of directly rearward)?
Worth it, yes, extra hp (well how fast do you shift?). It is the least expensive highest bang for the buck factory integrated āmodifiedā exhaust system.
