We don't need a separate forum for GT owners. If you look at the 6G forum they just have subforms for all the speciality models (Mach 1, GT350, GT500). The 7G forum just needs to add GTD, and DHSC subforums.
I find track mode holds the RPMs where it should and shifts when it should. I was primarily only using 3 gears on the twisties. They did a really good job on the programming IMO.
Just so you understand, im strictly speaking of the Mach 1 front end. Which the S650s lower valance is clearly styled after. I HATE the regular 2018-23 mustang front end.
Not a DH owner. But I did own a Mach 1 that I traded for a new GT. Obviously its not an apples to apples comparison (I bought my GT as a DD not track car), but I will say it rides much better and feels much more refined than the Mach 1. The infotainment system and technology are a huge leap...
Well, that sucks but at least its under warranty. And Id rather have a new transmission than a rebuild.
Did you have any symptoms prior to this message? How has the transmission been up until now?
Im going to go out on a limb and say he was using track mode since he was on the track lol.
Regardless of the mode, the shifting should not be like that. First thing id check would be the fluid level. Some cars come underfilled from the factory.
Lol. I say most people dont have a pump to add air to a spare. And a spare that requires you to have to carry a pump in order inflate it probably isnt much better than the factory pump with sealant that comes on non spare cars. 😎
