Family nickname for a national champion Labrador Retriever field trial dog my wife and I bought as a 7 week old puppy, trained and beat the best with. He jumped a lot, so he earned the name "Frogdog". I know, It's corny but he was no joke when it came to performance. We will never forget him...
Amen brother. I used to run entire companies for a living (one supplied Ford) and the whole shebang is no better than the people inside the building(s). Ford does have some very good people......and some slovenliness, useless trouble makers. I had to deal with them even at my level. I won...
@Skye why no parking brake when up for storage? Also, do you use your parking brake (ebrake) when, say parked in your garage or around town to keep the transmission off the pawl if you have an automatic?
Ford uses statistical methods of checking incoming supplier material and parts. So, not all parts are looked at before going on a car. They are supposed to do the same thing on their assembly lines but I have witnessed Ford UAW employees cheating on their SPC charts. So, there ya go. SPC...
Not disagreeing with your decision but Ford will wear you out with recall notices if your dealer doesn't turn it in as done. Someone helped me total a past GT and I got the airbag recall notice regularly for MANY years. It did no good to call Ford and ask them to stop. Just FYI, my experience.
Probably the most intelligent answer having to do with human buying behavior I've read in a long time. Especially in cars, people buy and pay for what they want and in some cases, what they can afford. Just look around you the next time you're at a stoplight. Some things never cease to amaze...
I was a supplier to them. Nobody would believe the stories I could tell. Let it suffice that GM had the same reputation at the time. Want to own a new GM V8 right now?
Funny you say that because I used to ride sport bikes and there was a difference in oils when it came to shifting. On the engine, I didn't feel any difference. Meanwhile, back to Mustang oil.
Just a comment, but I'm very surprised that Mustang windshields get replaced so often. They seem to have a pretty good slope to them. Now that I said that.....
Hold your breath.
Good to know when I take mine in next month. The service manager really doesn't want to do it. He has the "if it ain't broke, don't fix" it mindset. We just might not fix it either.
