I don't really understand the problem here but the car has to be moving and driven (both!) and, unless AE is broken, the differences are easily detectable. It's just that complicated. One isn't going to tell much, if any, difference in modes sitting in a driveway.
I 100% understand your feelings but we did buy a Ford. I thought about that kind of thing before I bought it and, sure enough, here we are dealing with this kind of slop. Thank you, Ford and UAW. Shameful is what it is....period.
Make one of those plastic crystal thingys that hang from the mirror an option. I swear, some people would do it. It would help me know quicker who to not drive near.
On a more serious not, Ford needs to take a break and work on figuring out where their system is failing on the recall issue...
What's the real argument if there really is one? I bought what I wanted and could have bought a lot more of a lot of cars out there. I just wanted what I got so I ordered it.
On another note, going into debt to buy any kind of Mustang is something people do but I'll never understand it...
Me, owning and driving a neglected POS isn't happening. I think how one takes care of their car reflects on them. I washed mine up this afternoon as I'm going to a Cars and Coffee in the morning to see what shows up, and I WILL NOT go in a dirty car. I just don't know how to let that kind of...
Since mine hadn't gone anywhere but short trips around town for a bit, I took it on a 20 mile section of perfect curvy, "lesser traveled" road and let her "eat" a few miles. 486 hp is enough to get anyone in trouble but it was fun. Went home, washed her up and going to a Cars and Coffee in the...
I remember when drifting was a method of getting through a turn by a skilled driver on a road course. Apparently, some people just like to smoke tires. Not my style.....
Yes. Duck and dove hunted with him and had the times of our lives.
He absolutely would not sit in a duck blind and insisted on either sitting in the middle of a sandbar when hunting on The Red River or outside, beside the blind when marsh hunting. Big black dog never scared the first duck...
Well, I'll be, there's two of us. They run better too and get better mileage because any dirt weight has been washed off. But, the new wax job may nix that savings. I dunno and don't care. Like my daughter used to say before a date, "it's all about lookin' good. She married well and I drive...
Or, just as quickly, he can end up with something he doesn't really want or need. There is a point of diminishing returns. Kind of getting what one asks for. When we get it, we wish we hadn't gotten it. Not everybody buys on want and needs. I suggest most people that aren't poor buy that...
Unless you legally race, no. Your Mustang has enough different modes to get anyone in a whole lot of trouble on the streets. Keep pushing that go pedal all the way to the floor in all the modes and see what you think after a while.
It totally depends on what you want from your car. Of course, people can feel their suspensions. Specific wheels, IDK. Unless there is hard competition going on, I would forget it. If money is burning a whole in your pocket, get them. Make sure you understand what forging really does and do...
