Wash day for the Mustang!
Tyres were scrubbed with Undressed, wheels and body cleaned with GSF. Following the blow off, I used Amplify on the paint, wheels, exhaust tips and door jambs. OG TD for the rubber, and a damp towel was used for the interior wipe down.
As the car continues...
My favorite regular tire dressing is Obsessed Garage Tire Dressing. It can do some gloss with multiple coats, but I don't think it would be what you are looking for.
If you aren't driving in rain and therefore longevity isn't an issue, the following I've found to be the glossiest water-based...
I'd go the other way around. Clean the tire super well, seal it up with Ghost, you could then dress of a traditional tire dressing as needed.
I really, really like OG Tire Dressing and much prefer it to Perl. That's not to say Perl is no good, I just prefer the look, application and scent of...
Despite there being so many Mustang's on the road, both S550 and S650 now, its nice to see they still turn heads. What other car under $100k can do that?
I had an A/C guy here last week and he immediately noticed the car in the garage, even knew it was the S650. On Monday, I had a group of...
Armour Detail Supply Ghost 👻
I've met very few tire dressings that I didn't like, and of those, I'd say most of them were from my early days when I didn't know what I was doing. Armour Detail Supply Ghost? Well, it's another knockout ADS product!

Cutting grass for the first time in decades...............................
I had two passes by today say how cool this thing is, and like a proud "grandson" (it's just too old for me to be its fatherly figure), I couldn't help but proudly agree. It's not perfect, it's go a few battle scars...
If you are using Amplify at each wash, you may not even need to use Cure as a topper to the coating. I mean, I probably would, but it wouldn't be 100% necessary as Amplify does leave some decent protection behind.
As for Cure vs ADS Ceramic Sealant -
Cure - This is a pretty old product now...
The liners in mine are still attached but the fasteners are sloppy and cause them to rattle over bumps. I'd probably try and find oversized fasteners rather than drilling.
Despite the heat today, which as I type is sitting on 41-degrees on its way to 42, I still managed to get in some detailing.
With it being quite dry and windy over the week, the Ranger's white paint was looking quite dull from a layer of dust. A trip to the green waste facility didn't help...
Back when I was at Waxit late last year for a polishing class with Sandro, the topic of UK detailing brands came up. As many will know, I have struggled with these brands for quite a while, so when this topic came up during the lunch session, I kinda had a lot to say. For anyone that knows me...
I've been a little lax on the detailing front over the last few weeks, I've been a little pre-occupied with restoring a vintage lawn mower.
Having said that, there has been a little detailing on that lawn mower................................
This little Victa was made between 1958...
Just note that not all banks will issue cheques these days. I went in to get a cheque and was advised they no longer supplied them, followed by the major banks will follow in due course. I ended up transferring the funds.
If it was me, and it was actually, I'd visit the dealer ASAP and inspect...
Yesterday I said goodby to a friend and colleague of 20-years. After a 15-year battle with cancer, she fought it to the very end, I would expect nothing less. She was one of those people who would give to her own detriment, a totally selfless soul that was loved by many. She worked for the...
