Tried distracting myself by washing the XR6 today.
Sadly, it only takes so long to wash a car, or walk the dog, or go for a drive.......................then the racing heart and tight chest returns, brought on by a significant amount of anxiety I have at the moment. I'm hoping by this time...
Speaking of Matt...........................................
I'm not sure where I got this idea, but for a long time now I've been using Carpro Eraser as a post decontamination wash drying aid. The concept here being that you don't really want to go ahead and use your normal drying aid...
As is tradition, my sisters Christmas present is a full detail of her car. Or was it a Christmas indulgence of my own? Either way, we both benefited.
The car certainly needed it too, the poor thing hadn't been touched since early September. Those wheels were feral, pretreated from dry with ADS...
Snuck in some sanity detailing today. I have my sister coming tomorrow, which will be her first encounter with the new Mustang, so I wanted it fresh!
It's been a while since I've used GSF, and it's as good as I remember. I had stopped buying it due to the completely absurd price the local...

The Mondeo was...
So lame! Sounds absolutely ridiculous, no car enthusiast who bought the previous model is going to buy that car.
".............they had to do it because of regulations............"
Hmmm, let's ask Ford about that.
I know it was a previous generation P-Zero, but it was the wet and/or cold road conditions that I felt made the Pirelli's sketchy. Even gently letting the clutch out would have the rears chattering.
Short review on an Australian-spec EcoBoost Hardtop.....................................
That engine comes across as extremely flat, not helped by upshifting at 5800 rpm, even though it was in Track/Drag mode.
