This thought crossed my mind as well. How much does the tremecs cost compared to the mt-82?
If Ford was going to do some batshit over the top halo mustang, I would love to see a 5.2 predator with a hybrid system. Could feasibly make 1,000 hp. Throw in agressive styling/aero and some light weigh...
I know it probably won't happen, but I've been saying for awhile that ford should take this approach with the tri-bars. Would look really sexy and futuristic, while also taking advantage of 90s nostalia.
I can't recall if that gray sketch was done as an s550 proposal, or if it was created by a fan, but I love it. If the general shape of the s650 looked like that, I'd be in love. Maybe just sharpen up the edges a little so it flows better with the more agressive fron end. But that's it.
I'm dying to know, what the status on your chub right now? Is it still going strong? These are the answers everyone on this forum needs bro. Don't leave us hanging (pun intended?)
Maybe it's the color, or that angle, but I think that design looks great. Prob ford's best looking sedan in the last few decades at least. Shame it won't be coming to the N. American market.
I noticed that as well. It looks a little narrower, and seems like it protrudes more. Maybe a different front end design for a trim level we haven't seen yet? Or it could just be the camo tricking us.
I sound like a broken record
There was no way ford copied those headlights, the design of the s650 was already locked in most likely before this Alfa was revealed. That being said, I'm ok with them looking similar, those lights are super sexy.
Nah, that's just camo good sir, the s550 had the exact same thing. Wouldn't make any sense to put the gas cap there, wouldn't serve any purpose and it would look worse. Would require a decent amount of work and compromise the car with no real advantages.
Ford apparently filed a patent for a hydrogen powered v8. I wouldn't be surprised if future mustangs were a combination of all electric and hydrogen. Hydrogen for people who want a sound and experience pretty similar to ICE cars while still owning a zero emissions vehicle, all electric for...
Maybe, but I feel like Ford needs to move forward. Do some 80s and 90s retro throwbacks. Keep the same basic shape as today's car, because it looks significantly better than the fox body or sn 95. But change the details. Mid 90s mustangs had those cool horizontal tri-bars rather than vertical...
