Well done!
But this raises some other questions to me.
The more solid bushing inset is only transferring the NVH already present and isolated, I wonder if yours is abnormal...
I’d start with the Steeda kit and pull it; RTS - return to stock. That rules in or out 1 of the 2 variables.
if the vibration goes away - there’s your issue. If it doesn’t, return to the dealer.
Alignment won’t cause a vibration like you describe. It may cause drift, weave, wear the ever...
Well... I got the s/w update 2 nights ago, which I’m sure is great and all but...
@Ford Motor Company : C’mon. The update shouldn’t delete my custom drive modes...
Do better on the software updates. It’s a great concept and a great car. Sub-standard programming shouldn’t be part of the plan.
I’m not near there, but I have had some experience with really good body shops. I was lucky to live close to 2x REALLY good shops, both doing custom work. I’d struck a deer with my 1st Mustang and went to the first one. He showed me 5 projects underway, 2 frame off restorations, 1 resto-mod...
It’s a Mustang. Built in, and tested in and around Detroit, Michigan.
Have you ever seen or experienced the roads around Detroit? It’s like being on pavement that’s been shelled with artillery.
You’re probably fine.
Welcome to M7G!
Tuning is still locked but just get some seat time and learn the car and I suspect you’ll find it quite fun. I’ve ridden in the area many years ago, the Dark Horse will be right at home on many roads local to you
I have 2 Ninjas, a Raptor and the Dark Horse and only the latter has a completely stock exhaust.
You can thank the “loud pipes save lives” crew for this one. Every Rich Urban Biker (RUB) out there has to have the HD drag pipes- no baffles. So they go from about 70 rwhp on a 700 pound bike...
Be careful you don’t go too far. with lower psi the tire will compress more or give more and potentially hit the rim instead of the tire absorbing most of the sharp impact. You may have only partially hit the pothole, the one I hit in my wife’s car swallowed the whole wheel/tire at speed...
check the tire psi and keep an eye on it for a slow leak.
turn the wheel to full lock and examine. Move forward and check the next portion of the wheel / tire for damage ; repeat until you’ve laid eyes on the whole wheel.
Use a bright light so you can spot anything out of the ordinary. Look...
My wife’s Lincoln barks at us once in a while about getting some rest. strangely, the lane keep is off by default and has to be activated on her car each ignition cycle.
Yes, I have a DHPP and it’s following the ruts pretty aggressively, even small ones and it’s not the first car I’ve had that issue with.
You have short sidewall, fat tires making a lot of contact with the road, and they’re going to deflect off imperfections pretty easily.
I wouldn’t; what if you hate it? Or, what if you have an injury that makes it untenable to keep it long term, etc.
which is illegal. You must have your D/L with you if you’re driving on public roads. We just had a guy in central TX ticketed for not having a plate on the vehicle he was test...
If I understand correctly, you only have one customer drive mode available for selection at any given time - that is to say, selectable on the steering wheel. You change which custom mode that is on the center stack.
