I agree. This would be a perfect S650 in my mind. I do miss the lack of a C-Scoop/hockey stick on the S550. I know they were moving the design on, but it's one of my favourite styling cues on the early Mustangs. It would be great if it were functional, but I'd give it a pass even it wasn't...
I don't seem to have the qualifications for the job....never mind not being able to legally work in the US.....but that sounds like a job right up my alley :D
Personally, I use Photobucket.
However, if you're on a laptop, its often easier just to upload direct. If you look below "this" section when typing a post, you'll see "Additional Options". From there you'll see the "Attach Files" section and "Manage Attachment" button. Click on that and...
imgur won't work on this, or many other forums. You can either upload directly from your phone/PC/laptop, or use another hosting site such as Photobucket.
Oh, trust me. I'd much rather every Mustang came with at least a 5 litre V8.....but I also appreciate we are a tiny minority of car buyers and the time's are a changin' and our beloved petrol engines are under attack. So you can either embrace new technologies or.......well, there might not be...
I'd love to know how many sales Ford expect from the hybrid Mustang. Will they be prepared to sell it as a loss leader? Knowing how Ford count every cent that goes into the car (the scene in A Faster Horse where Prakash Patel queries the need for a 25c wheel arch fastener brought this home!)...
Or......that progress could be the development of a 4.0 twin turbo V8. It'd be at least as powerful at the Coyote, whilst improving economy and emissions outputs ;)
True but, as I understand it, the V6 was a late addition to the Mustang line-up. It was never intended to go into S550 but it was bought in to appease the fleet market.
Ironically, the majority of fleet/rental S550s I've seen have been Ecoboosts......and some of those have even been Premium...
I'd love them to still use the V8 in this. V8 plus hybrid batteries? That's McLaren P1 tech. In a Mustang!
However, if they don't use the V8 in it, but the V8 remains in another model, that's where my heart would be and the one I'd buy one of those, instead.
Whatever petrol engine this...
