Just going by your words “muscular Mopar front end.”
I think it looks 100%, distinctively Mustang up front. The S197s were muscular. The S550 wasn’t as much. Now the S650 looks like a beefy S550.
Any similarity to the Challenger/Charger is reaching for patterns imo.
Edit: in fact, one of the...
Yeah those seats are baller, carbon fiber scrote tray and all.
I never took photos of the interior really. Just videos of me bitching about the issues I needed to record for the lemon lawsuit lol.
Did a quick google and this guy has a fair summary; I'd agree with his thoughts:
Doesn't need to be either or! The Mustang got seat upgrades from 2000 -> 2005 -> 2010 -> 2015. Not bad to ask for progress especially when the pricetags are already inflating
Just like the Corvette, from C6 -> C7 -> C8 where they're truly superior in standard trim, not even counting the optional
You could get those seats in a GTI S that retails for 30k on the dot. So I’ll be fair and say 35k since that includes the EN and GTI SE.
Regardless, I wished they pursued something better and at least made some level of change instead of running the same things for what will now be 10+ years...
Definitely will. I've had Recaros and fixed-headrest, aggressive, single-shelled seats in my past four cars. I just think it's comfier to be hugged into place, even in a daily driver.
Agreed, never had an issue with manual seats. Automatic adjustments are just a nice bonus.
Well said. Never was a fan of the generic looking base seats in the S550. The amount of GT350s, GT500s, and Mach 1s with them made me cry
It’s hilarious that you can get seats like these as standard…
…in cars that retail for 30-32k. A Hyundai and VW no less.
But nah, they stuck the Mustang...
Technically the rim is a specific part of a wheel, but also practically speaking, it should be fine to use interchangeably as a form of slang.
Like how dudes go “uh akshually, it’s a magazine, not a clip,” when talking about guns. The point still gets across to the lay person.
I just bought a Civic Si which is slow as molasses, but for the money, so much better for what I need it to be than the EN. Excellent manual, looks Germanic inside and out, super roomy, excellent fuel economy (like 40-45 mixed when driven lightly).
Not everything’s about numbers and visceral...
Heh, in one lap on the Ring, the battery dies, the 8000lbs curb weight eviscerates the tires, and the brakes fade as the car flies into the armco as the car seats make whoopie cushion noises in mockery

Definitely levels to this. An absence of hard body lines is not a throwback to 90s soap bars.
Conceptual design has been refined between proportions and graphics. Manufacturing methods allow OEMs to create the illusion of hard edges. Computer-aided modeling has refined joined body surfaces so...
