  1. Faster GTD prototype testing at the 'ring

So it seems like a 1,000 plus HP is likely. One of the prototypes was spotted with the hood vents removed so you can see the top of the engine, and keen eyed viewers said it had a whipple supercharger. This news is making the rounds now. So even more downforce, more power, and likely less...
  2. Faster GTD prototype testing at the 'ring

Cool and wow factor. I love the GTD, a lot of people here do as well, but it's also pretty clear there's a audience of wealthy enthusiasts, who are buying a lot of things like c8s, and printing GM billions of dollars in the process. For a lot of people in that crowd, they want an exotic 6...
  3. Now here's something you dont see everyday...

Ya know what? I like it. Pink isn't my thing, but I'll stand behind this until I die, fun cars need fun colors. It's why the teal and magenta colors Ford is putting out now are so appealing imo. I want mustang car shows looking like a bag of skittles, not a funeral.
  4. Faster GTD prototype testing at the 'ring

Same lol! I'm se A lot of people are mad about it being too expensive, or too extreme for a mustang. Others are mad it doesn't take it far enough by being like a bespoke mid-engine supercar. I personally think it's an incredible machine. Not only is it putting down some impressive numbers...
  5. Faster GTD prototype testing at the 'ring

I'm guessing high to mid 6:40s if it's already putting down a 6:52 before the extra downforce and presumably power.
  6. New Motor

To be fair, I think the better question to ask a dealer tech is have Ecoboost engines gotten more reliable as they've received design changes? Most would say yes. You still have horror stories on forums, like we have here, but they exist for basically any vehicle you can find. Hell, I've found a...
  7. New Motor

The Ecoboost 3.5 these days is arguably seen as being about as reliable than the 5.0, that wasn't the case for awhile, but I'm talking about newer ones that resolved most or all of the issues the 3.5 had. The 2.7 seems pretty solid, and the 2.0 in newer iterations isn't bad. I've heard the...
  8. Faster GTD prototype testing at the 'ring

I get what you're saying but that's basically a guarantee in the high end car world lol. There's almost always a faster, more aggressive version at some point. It's happened with just about every high end performance car I can think of.
  9. Faster GTD prototype testing at the 'ring

The normal GTD was using those same exhausts when testing to reduce noise and meet track noise restrictions, they aren't production. The canards and wheel covers are to improve areo.
  10. Faster GTD prototype testing at the 'ring

https://www.thedrive.com/news/the-ford-mustang-gtd-is-at-the-nurburgring-attempting-to-steal-its-record-back-from-the-chevy-corvette-report More downforce, I'm willing to bet north of 1,000 hp. Something with even more cornering speed and better handling than a stock GTD, but with noticably...
  11. Where does the 'brand' go from here?

My professor had one before replacing it with a yellow mk5 supra. He had the engine replaced due to the head gasket issue, but after that, it was flawless. Definitely one of those early issues that got resolved pretty quickly.
  12. This affordable EV truck sounds like a new Ranchero to me

The ranchero was a ute style truck, if that's what this new one ends up being, I'll be all over it.
  13. This affordable EV truck sounds like a new Ranchero to me

Yep, can't wait to see what else they come up with. There looks to be a hatchback under a sheet in the background of one of their vids so hopefully whatever that is ends up being cool.
  14. 2026 Mustang Build and Price Site Is Up!

I want to believe so, but unless we do away with all these harmful tariffs and other trade policies, I don't believe the impact long term will be minimal. My optimism is broken these days.
  15. Cervini exterior parts

How it probably feels trying to see out of that.
  16. 2026 Mustang Build and Price Site Is Up!

Fucking tariffs bro, this is depressing as hell. Hopefully there's a light at the end of the tunnel, maybe Ford/Toyota/GM/Stellantis, all the brands who are, or recently made RWD performance coupe platforms could get together and develop a platform to drastically reduce costs, with...
  17. Where does the 'brand' go from here?

So just to clarify, I don't mean move the next gen fullsize coupe over to this EV platform, that should remain a V8 muscle car. But instead, offering a new model in the same way that mach-e is a separate thing than the s650. That new model could use this new affordable ground up ev platform to...
  18. Where does the 'brand' go from here?

So c2 is the platform used on the current overseas focus and fusion that we don't get here, as well as the Lincoln zephyr sedan, maverick, bronco sport, escape, evos, and Lincoln Corsair. Super flexible platform. You're right, a mustang using C2 would be either FWD or AWD as it stands. A 5.0...
  19. This affordable EV truck sounds like a new Ranchero to me

This truck doesn't use lithium ion batteries, but LFP batteries which are much cheaper, last about twice as long so realistically 20 years, and have virtuslly no fire risk relative to lithium ion batteries. As for range, all Ford as said is the battery is a lot smaller and cheaper than their...
  20. This affordable EV truck sounds like a new Ranchero to me

The mach-e starts at sub 40 and this new EV platform is a lot more affordable than that one.
