Short Answers:
A1: No. Confirmation of an order does not also mean confirmation of an allocation to support it.
A2: You might be able to call Ford Performance, and request status on your order and build. Other than accepting the word of your salesperson and dealer, I know of no other way to...
Next time, try Wal-Mart on-line; last I noticed, they were $10 a jug cheaper.
I purchase and have it delivered to the house for free in like two days.
Wal-Mart often sells products on-line they do not stock in their stores, PUP being one.
Many perform their first at 1000 mi / 1600 km. It's officially broken-in then. Something of a milestone and celebration.
I believe it's also practical. Not only is there a certain amount of machining trash left over from the factory build, the engine internals are shedding the most materials...
Agreed. I haven't attempted a no-lift shift, but yea, I swapped mine to get a better feel. The stock bite point in my 2022 was not only difficult to determine, it was also like an on/off switch, either completely engaged or completely dis-engaged. It just didn't work for me.
Allocations are often not an issue, but they can be, in certain situations.
Ford looks ahead to the next model Model Year (MY) and figures it can produce so many vehicles of a certain type. Let's say, 1,000 Mustangs; that'd be the pool of allocations.
A dealer can accept as many orders as they...

I did some initial queries and did not see anything. Steeda is populating their web site for the S650.
@SteedaTech , have you had a chance to test the existing S550 clutch spring on the S650? Is there a new spring in development? Thanks In Advance...
This AM I read an article on a recent economic poll and their findings.
In general, while top-line and headline numbers do show well, as you dig deeper, read most peoples' experiences and study the findings further, things are not all that great. Any gains being made from interest rate returns...
^ This.
The dealer accepted the order 90 days ago. Can they provide a date when the paired that order with an allocation? It would provide a more accurate timeline as to how things are progressing.
The days of ordering any vehicle and picking up in six to eight weeks ended years ago. As many of the contributing factors have continued, if not increased, it's difficult to see the situation improving.
I can't speak to the dealer your working with, their management of allocations and why in...
I have a Gen 3 5.0 with an M6.
Cold start oil pressure pegs the gauge. Warm idle is about 20 psi. Once at operating temps, pressure increases with RPM. Seeing the gauge move past at least 60+ psi with every shift is normal for me.
On the side of the tire, and in the tire documentation, is a "Treadwear" rating, a three-digit number which gives the Owner an idea how quickly a tire will wear out. The higher the number, the longer the tire is expected to last.
I'm using Michelin All-Season Series 4 tires; they have a...
You might be referring to XL-17? I've read about it. Some have speculated Ford has used in it their factory fills. Still today though? 🤷♀️🤷♂️

Several have proposed ideas as to what the tick is, none of which have been confirmed. FWIW, out of all these threads, I've never read of anyone correlating the tick to an engine problem or failure.
Ford has stated the BBQ tick is a normal part of the engine's operation. Ford's advice is to do...
I haven't studied all the permutations, but I would reverse your process.
If in your custom mode, "MyMode", and you then select one of the factory modes, you'll do just what you said: have a menu which reflects options only within that factory mode.
I'd set a custom mode, toggle to and stay...
While I have a '22, I didn't notice any change in power. The car has hauled A from day one. No notifications, bells, "dings" telling me otherwise when I crossed 1,000 mi / 1,600 km. For the S550s and prior generations, I'm not aware of any further potential released after passing a certain mileage.
I did not start mine while stored. IMO, it's better to let it sit, unless you're going to drive the car long enough to come up to full operating temperatures.
Inserted is a quote from another thread:
I have no experience in determining value. In broad terms, I'd say it's a non-issue. Same engine, possibly better (speculating maybe getting a v2Gen4 versus v1). Warranty remains same and continues to cover the engine/car just like before. Ford is making the swap. You've documented things well...
One additional item:
- Pre-delivery, ask for any documents found inside the car (the build sheet and as-built) be kept
Build sheets and as-built documents are left in the interior at the factory; they are often removed and tossed during the dealer inspection. Nice keepsakes. You'll only have...
