well, the agreed price was 2% below, but if they took X-plan the numbers looked better on their books. Even though they had to give me 150% of the difference ($400 -> 600) to finalize the deal. The $600 was reflected in a different color of money so accounting/GM wouldn't bitch about the...
My X-plan purchase from Ourisman last year doesn't show 2 below invoice. Unless you count the "deal cash" they added in parts/labor credits to get back to 2 below.
Can you post your deal sheet?
Koons Sterling Ford (the other "heavy" in Mustang-land here in NoVA) has a Model-T in their service driveway. I guess this means I need to have them position a S650 next to it so I can take a side-by-side and you all can dissect the similarities and differences.
if Ford A-Plan, Z-Plan, X-Plan, D-Plan Pricing: How It's Calculated and What You Need to Know - CarsDirect can be believed it's probably around 3% below invoice at recent Mustang pricing ($33,000 and up) But might not apply to DH/Mach1 etc.
If the build+price was up, you could log into Ford...
The fed should just come out and say "we're going to turn it up to 11, literally and figuratively. Your house values will be halved (at least) for the good of the whole country. All mortgage loans will be re-issued on that basis."
won't be a mouthful of spit of difference between them, once you control for tires and omit the carbon wheels.
The "15 HP" is just marketing or at best only realized on an engine dyno under scrupulously controlled conditions. IOW nonsense to buy a DH over a M1 unless you like the styling and...
it was a 10 second soundbite over a 15 minute shit-storm on TikTok/IG. You were supposed to be mollified by the stern countenance of the CEO and his words. See, problem solved. No go bury your nose in your personal tracking dis-information device and and let naked greed run the table.
At least...

no surveillance tech, no glass instruments, but has "track-ready" coolers and TR3160 instead of MT82. All for potentially less money to boot. More so if you factor in loan rates.
"no".
I asked again this morning to clarify their stance and proposed a few different strategies. The executives have visions of ADM dancing in their heads, but I've been making the case that they could trivially match Granger's MSRP for 9-15 units and then go wild on the rest. Ditto EB/GT do...
but of course! They just need a spare with a Nissan part number stamped on it.
I guess Ford figures since you're screwed if you have a PP (not-rotatable wheels) you're rich enough to just whip out the CC and cell phone and require a tow truck to get repaired rather than continue your journey...
X-plan == INvoice + like $150 and limits dealer fees to $99.
2% below invoice + full dealer fee SHOULD be lower by about $500 but do the math.
X-plan only makes sense if you have a d*ck dealer who wants to only sell at MSRP.
