Half the price is quite far fetched... The Mustang definitely has been upscaled by Ford. Quite a bit actually. With regard to the price however, it didn't go far enough. BMWs have much nicer interiors and are mich faster for slightly more.
The problem with that is that itās supposed to be an EV exclusive platform as it maximizes EV efficiency. Most EVs donāt even have a drive shaft but rather independent engines at each axle or each wheel. So a platform dedicated to EVs isnāt feasible for anything but EVs.
The problem that I have...
To me it feels like Ford doesn't really know where to go with the 'brand'. We've had rumors regarding a 4door, an off-road and many other iterations but so far we haven't seen anything but vague rumors and most of the are damn old.
They have this very recognizable name that could boost sales...
Actually the tariffs and trade agreements could make the mustang substantially cheaper in Europe. Ford had to pay something like 10% of additional import taxes but with the lingering new agreement these could be reduced to zero (if the deal is still standing - heard that the law isn't happy with...
In a different thread someone posted this. Analyzing the chart sales were between 60 and somewhat 80K a year for the last 16 years. Only period exceed this was when the S550 hit markets and offered a truly new (driving) experience. Besides, it had a much improved interior and a vastly superior...
Unfortunately it's not just Ford...
BMW does it as well. The airbag cover on the steering wheel used to be leather with stitching but now it's just plastic... One of many 'improvements' the refresh introduced...
Because people like you don't understand how modern platforms work... No offense, it's just something you could educate yourself in if you like. If you don't than just don't.
A new platform would allow Ford to use lightweight material to reduce weight (aluminum engine block), use more adequate...
And who's fault is that?
Ford had a truly brand new S650 (supposed to be released around 2020) with a new platform in the pipeline but then they canceled the whole thing and decided to stick with the old... And some are still complaining because 'iT wOuLd HavE sHAreD tHe plATfOrm WiTh aN...
It could quite literally be everything:
The new DarkHorse refresh/replacement for MY27 (BOSS) would make sense since it will be most likely sold by Ford in Europe. However, this car has the US mirrors so it could also mean that it is the GT500 successor that is either 'just' tested in Europe or...
I just re-read this old article stating that Ford filed for BOSS in the US and DarkHorse BOSS in Europe...
That would mean the dark horse will be succeeded by a BOSS, at least in the US. However, looking at the logo I have a feeling the German fashion company HUGO BOSS could and most likely...
Maybe it's just the Dark Horse replacement. Bullet, Mach 1, Dark Horse... Not one was longer available then four years if I'm not mistaken.
It's also supposed to be 'limited' so the run has to end at some point... Why not replacing it with something that has a little bit more to offer over the...
Back in 2020 or somewhat earlier Ford announced that from 2022 (could've been a slightly different year but I think it was 22) onwards all cars/trucks will be equipped with Android Automotive. However, Google had to delay it and so the back then new F150 and later the S650 were both released...
Stop posting that comment and learn to read... NOONE is calling the GT500 successor 'Shelby GT500'... Whatever the name might be it's 100% going to be the successor of the old Shelby GT500...
A lot of stuff is actually adding up. If you look into older leaks one can already paint a faily good...
Always remember: the Mustang gets what the F-150 has. It's financially inadvisable to do something else. So 5.4 sounds unlikely unless the F-150 gets the same upgrade in the near future and I don't see that happening. Besides, we already had 'confirmed' rumors that the Predator engine will get...
Shelby America is an independent tuner and has nothing in common with the Ford Performance GT500 successor...
It's just a Mustang tuner that holds the right to call their tuning versions 'Shelby'. They do not develop any engines or even cars.
Wrong. The successor to the GT500 will have the...
Funny, If I use the same calculator it says 33000 pound in 2015 are equal to 45600 pounds in 2025...

Well, I canāt speak for the US but in Germany taxes havenāt changed all that much. What has changed is Fords pricing⦠Not saying Ford shouldnāt have increased prices but if inflation is 26% and prices go up by 50% I would call that greed⦠It's not that they didn't make any money prior to the...
