What's the point of that?
It's supposed to be a driver's car... The AT is already a stretch but if they take the steering away I don't see the purpose of mustangs or sports cars anymore. I couldn't care less how my cab/taxi looks like...
Never tried the S650 ventilated seats but I had them in my old Mercedes and test drover never versions... Mercedes version feels like air hockey as I had the impression that they are actually blowing air instead of sucking them in but maybe I'm wrong. However, it felt somewhat nice during...
It has been silly for years and it's only getting worse.
There is however, a difference between what the drive is capable of and what the car is actually capable to pull off.
Almost zero people are able to put down a sub 3 seconds 0-60 time and as many people are able to drive the car around...
But usually I don't pay that extra tax because I would export it... That's how Germany does it.
You pay the money but you can get it back if you proof that you exported the car outside of the EU as far as I know.
And usually it isn't a big deal to import a car. However, getting a permission to...
Y
Yeah, I heavily doubt that. The GTD will do 2.8 seconds like the Tesla Plaid did 1.x seconds... If you cannot reproduce the 0-60 or 100 km/h on any other day it's not 2.8 seconds. Look at Porsche. The 911 Turbo S does its 2.5 seconds basically any given day. Now that's a verifiable number...
Thx, I didn't think of that. If I option everything then the shown price is around $8500. Do I still have to pay taxes on top of that price or is this the retail price?
I sometimes do not understand the US taxation system... In Europe the price shown always includes taxes.
I'll take that with a grain of salt as I doubt that the car will be significantly lighter... We also expected some 8xxhp from a supercharger. Unfortunately it wouldn't make any difference if the car cannot deliver the performance. The biggest flaw of the GT500 was spinning tires - AWD would be a...
That would be considered a steal š
If the price is in that ballpark I would definitely consider it in the future but aren't regular kompressor builds already around $10K for an additional ~200hp boost?!
Here you gain 600+ hp and 200nm to 250nm of torque...
What is the price though?
That's why I'm nowhere near excited as I was with the old GT500... Back then I didn't have the money to buy one, now I could afford one but it will be priced into oblivion... Easily $98K starting price before ADMs and other stuff... Real price probably closer to $150K ... For an upgraded...

So according to Ford Racing chief Mark Rushbrook Ford will show or tease a new car and describes it as āa testament to how deeply weāre integrating our racing innovation into the vehicles you drive...
I have a hard time seeing any value in paddles... It has literally zero similarities to a real clutch transmission, itās not āsimulatingā true shifts and adds little to no value to me. Iāve used my paddles hardly ever because they donāt make the car faster and if shifting and revving is what I...
I never said that these cars cannot be compared⦠They can and they should. The GTD simply never wins in anything but looks and sound. Itās neither ācheaperā nor faster than a C8 or the GT3 RS and both cost significantly less. Besides, itās not about āI beat you today and you beat me tomorrowā...
Yes you can. You cannot buy a GTD unless you are someone who's worthy in Fords eyes... There are currently no GTDs on sale so we can only assume a fictional price ...
MSRP vs MSRP. Same goes for the ZR1 and the upcoming GT2 RS. The GTD is simply overpriced. It would be more special if it would...
To me they are miles away. That GTD interior is a disgrace. That's by far the worst inteior anyone can get for a +$200K car. It looks cheap but most importantly one can get the same interior in a $30K car and a few extra parts from Temu...
Well, if we would have an AWD Mustang the one without it would probably never beat it if the only difference is AWD. By the time both cars reach 60/100 the AWD car is probably one second ahead⦠Make it optional like in the current M cars and you just simply have a better car that performs much...
Quite the opposite. Everyone can have good traction on a prepped surface. It makes up for a lack of engineering. That's why AWD cars a vastly superior when it comes down to 0-60 times because they can actually bring down the power.
Less fun to drive though...
Maybe we talk about different things here?!
If those numbers a valid, and I have no reason to believe they're not, than you either have a heavily modified Mustang and or a prepped surface. Both is nothing I was referring to. Prepped surfaces do not count when one compares real world numbers...
Unless Ford has fixed the system the times displayed with sync 4 are way off. Use dragy or other established third party GPS tracker and you'll see that the real world numbers are much much higher;)
