  1. How well do you think the S650 will sell?

I totally agree. Sales will be down by quite a bit compared to 2014. Main reason is the lackluster refresh they call S650. The S550 was a major overhaul although not entirely new. It was the first Mustang sold internationally and the first with an independent rear suspension. Besides, its design...
  2. Ford Performance teasing something.. Mustang Dark Horse S ?

https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2023/03/21/ford-selects-john-dion-to-be-chief-transformation-officer--as-co.html Maybe he will do a better job? Although I doubt that he'll have much of a lasting impression on the S650... I expect him to maybe increase the built quality...
  3. Hands-on reviews: digital gauge cluster, display screens, SYNC 4 -- which media are calling impressive

3:41 in the video... boy that looks cheap... What an aweful designchoice that was...
  4. S650 Refresh: What You Want To See

AWD, HUD and a restructured dash. Implement the screens and redesign the center console. A better looking hood, especially the air intake on the GT, would be nice. The S650 hood looks somewhat unproportional on photos... GT500 hood would be overkill but something in between maybe?! Impossible...
  5. Emberglo as interior color with Vapor Blue…..

    That's... unique... :D Horrible resale value I guess ;)
  6. Are there any news on the EU Mustang?

You sure can. I like my BMW and it's a perfect daily driver. However, at the moment I drive around 800km per week, ~45000km a year. Doing so in a V8 is too expensive as the fuel consumption would be astronomical. I mainly use the Autobahn and drive 200+km/h on a regular basis. My 3 liter Diesel...
  7. Are there any news on the EU Mustang?

Well, I suspect that we only get mild changes in terms of interior and exterior. Biggest changes will take place under the hood. That's what happened to the S550... Besides, rumors have it that we get a hybrid...
  8. Are there any news on the EU Mustang?

Does anyone have any news on EU Mustang? Specs, price etc? All we know this far is that one can order the S650 in "summer 2023". We get the GT, the GT convertible and the DH. Deliveries will begin towards the end of the year. Since the order guide came out someone might have some extra info’s...
  9. What if there were more Classic Gauge Clusters?

I had the same idea. Why stop at the Foxbody? It's minimal effort and can give customers a more immersive and unique interior. Give us some options Ford, @Apeman provided some excellent examples.
  10. 48-volt/12-volt hybrid S650

I don’t know if mild-hybrid systems really pay off. They do in terms of emissions and according to Ford EU there won’t be any non-hybrid cars after 2025. However, as a German I hoped for a more radical approach that would benefit me as a tax payer. Seeing Mercedes new “C63” hybrid is shameful...
  11. 48-volt/12-volt hybrid S650

As far as I'm aware all 3 liter BMW engines have that mild-hybrid system. Diesel and petrol. I think that the term “hybrid” is somewhat misleading for unaware customers. The mild-hybrid cannot be charged externally and one cannot drive purely on electricity. Besides, the electric motors do not...
  12. đź’µ Official: 2024 Mustang U.S. Pricing Starts at $32,515 and Dark Horse Priced at $59,565

Do me the favour and reread the article.... "The total investment value is a staggering $3.7 billion, to be split into three locations that will each perform specific tasks and build new vehicles. Ford Motor Company: S650 Mustang And P703N Ranger Investment Michigan will receive $2 billion...
  13. đź’µ Official: 2024 Mustang U.S. Pricing Starts at $32,515 and Dark Horse Priced at $59,565

That’s just wrong. It clearly states that the $2 billion are not solely spend on the Mustang but are split between the S650, the new P703N Ranger and production increase of the F150 lightning. The article doesn’t specify any further numbers but I would bet my a$$ that the absolute vast majority...
  14. đź’µ Official: 2024 Mustang U.S. Pricing Starts at $32,515 and Dark Horse Priced at $59,565

I would be very happy if Ford actually HAD invested in the S650 but they really didn't. It's a renamed refresh with increased prices. The current price hike is decent and would be somewhat acceptable for a new generation but since the S550 prices were increased way above inflation it's a cash...
  15. đź’µ Official: 2024 Mustang U.S. Pricing Starts at $32,515 and Dark Horse Priced at $59,565

I would be if I would spend that money on myself... If it's a company it's called an investment...
  16. đź’µ Official: 2024 Mustang U.S. Pricing Starts at $32,515 and Dark Horse Priced at $59,565

https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/F/ford-motor/revenue#:~:text=Ford%20Motor%20annual%20revenue%20for,a%2018.45%25%20decline%20from%202019. Ford annual revenue increased in 2021 by 7,23% and the increase in 2022 was 15,93%. 2x 7.23 should be a 14.46% increase in revenue but it is even...
  17. đź’µ Official: 2024 Mustang U.S. Pricing Starts at $32,515 and Dark Horse Priced at $59,565

Ford's annual earnings are constantly increasing. They're making more money than ever and yet there are people out there trying to justify cash grabbing price increases... They have almost zero development cost, reuse quite substantial parts of the car and did some minor improvements here and...
  18. đź’µ Official: 2024 Mustang U.S. Pricing Starts at $32,515 and Dark Horse Priced at $59,565

Why not add “that’s called Dark Horse” to your list? … The argument is lousy and people should know it…. Same what happened to the GPU market a year or so ago… “oh, Nvidia is too expensive for you? That’s kind of your problem because where else can you get the fastest GPU on the market? Every...
  19. What are your thoughts on the interior of the S650? Specifically the screens

Both like cheap interiors? Maseratis sound fantastic and they have a very unique design but the overall quality is poor compared to its price.
  20. Will you be ordering a manual or auto?

It is indeed but bragging rights are a thing and numbers are way more important than you think. Do you know how many people buy a car without doing any kind of research like at all? They’ve heard from a family member or friend something à they buy a car/ from a company They’ve read something in...
