i assume you meant GT3 not GT4 there lol. i dont doubt that there will be a more high performing NA mustang, but i dont think well see it in the shelby form, i honestly think if we got a GT3 road car it would either be a GT branded name or a Cobra because ultimately the GT3 is an FR car.
i could see that happening but i dont think it will as Ford has really rallied behind the identity of the Dark Horse as a car, at most i could see a DH refresh but i doubt Ford will spend more money on re-engineering a new spec race car and a new GT4 car for a "boss" or a "350" variant.
that is also a possibility yeah, but i do think well see a hybrid V8 at some point this generation, Fords mustang team definitely wants to ride that V8 train as long as they can.
it may not be as hardcore as the 350 but its certainly crowding out anything the 350 had going for it and im not sure Ford wants to compete with themselves in this segment, and if the rumors are to be belived about a potential 2025/26 GT500 that doesnt leave long for the GT350 to even be...
i dont think the GT could fill this kind of role, the GTs whole shtick is "affordable power for the masses" the costs of hybrid systems would kind of drive it out of that market, i personally dont see them getting away from Shelby, i think the DH was more them wanting to solidify the role of...
now that ive got your attention let me expand on that title: "i dont think there will be a GT350 in the way everyone thinks there will be"
before i continue let me make it clear. I do not work for Ford. i do not have a relationship with Ford in any form outside of owning a car, and im not...
If you want to ignore the writing on the wall than feel free, but anyone who pays attention can see the similarities here
The Dh, Mach 1, and Gt350 are all high performance v8s with an emphasis on handling characteristics.
Unlike the m1, the DH and Gt350 have "track spec" versions that strip out...
im guessing the 90-100k price point. Ford may not want to come outright and say it, but this is definitely more of a GT350 replacement than it is a Mach 1 replacement at this point
you arent buying this thing from a dealer, youre buying this through Multimatic through your racing team or business.
this car isnt for people that want a "track focused Dark Horse" this is a dark horse for people that want to race in a sanctioned racing series first. the "track focuses Dark...
i mean, its a purpose built race car, GT3s can go for upwards of half a million or more. looks great and hope they bring the support series to a track near me lol.
I feel personally attacked for my rear window louvers I have on my S197 that I bought off AM. 🙃
For real though I think people are seriously overreacting here when it comes to reviews, most of these people making the videos have jobs outside of reviewing the Ford Mustang, and as TH has shown...
you wont really be able to tell a difference between the two until you drive a Magneride equipped car then drive another version of that same car without Magneride. theres a reason why Chevy adds it to their top end cars and from what ive seen from the likes of TDIB, Magneride is very noticeable...
my thoughts:
* definitely an overall improvement over the S550, some areas clearly need work to better performance, but its also a car marketed to the mass audience so i can understand those issues
* Grabber Blue was definitely the right color choice for me
* Recaros still look like way too much...
thats my biggest thing about the bronze pack that i didnt like, but i still went with bronze over the np because i really dont like the black roof. so ill probably get the black headlights aftermarket too lol
enough is enough when you feel like it is. end of the day nothing is really "required" here, if you can afford it and want it, then go for it, if you cant but want a better ride later on there are numerous options in the aftermarket. me personally, i know i can afford it, and ive heard good...
