Seems a little bit slow. Would expected to see a few more mph
What size pulley? Murphy's law garage went 132 on 93 on a stage 1 didn't they? Not sure what other mods they had.
Look how expensive the other RWD sports cars are now
Nissan Z: 45-65k
Toyota Supra: 56-59k
BMW M2: 65k+
The lower trim levels of the Mustang still look like a bargain at $46k, especially when you consider you can get them for about $5k under that
and the thing is, the S550/S650 is a really...
Don't forget about market trends. People aren't buying two door sports cars. If they were the Camaro and Challenger would still be coming off the assembly lines. Just aren't "cool" anymore. And young people are not into cars or driving like they were a long time ago, and they're too expensive...
They are on a dusty ass track with human drivers and they launch on the word 'go'
Sorry the M2 kicked the DH's ass
Show me where the DH makes more power again? Was it down low?
No shortage of S550 10R80 problems with a Whipple...If I was supercharging a S650 I would plan on building the trans and installing headers (to get rid of the cats) at some point.
Are you going to consider centrifugal superchargers as well?
Don't forget that Whipple superchargers have a bypass valve that opens to decrease parasitic loss at cruise.
The decision isn't really any different than it was before, once more options than Roush/Whipple becomes available of course.
Is there a detailed list of what comes in the Roush kit?
The 2024 Roush Mustang Phase 2 Supercharger Kit includes high-flow, dual cone fuel injectors with optimized director plates for ideal injector targeting. Custom billet fuel rails ensure maximum flow with minimum restriction, providing the...
Remember they (VMP) have an interest in making the Whipple look good. Funny how Gen 2 cars with the Odin would make low 700's on 12.5 psi
Seems like on pump gas the cars should be pretty close. Will be interesting to see what these kits make as others get them.
Would also be interesting to...
are there documented cases where a ford dealer denied warranty on an engine failure because of the oil? And the oil wasn't something ridiculous like straight 50 weight
