  1. Leftover 2024 GT Premium good deal?

For once I like our system. We advertise cars at the year of registration, not build, so my '24 becomes a '25, but I still got all the '24 goodies.
  2. To Supercharge or not to Supercharge...is that even a question?

You don't need it, but you want it, so do it. Personally, I don't see the value of spending $NZ20k+ on a blower, nearly 500 horsies is plenty for our roads and my driving needs. I will spend some bucks on suspension upgrades in the future though. A trans tune sounds like a good thing too. And...
  3. Indiana State Police Mustang GT Fleet Reports For Duty

Yes, but no one pulls them up about it. We had a innocent driver killed in a shoot out. He was down range of the incident, the cops sprayed and prayed ( 20 rounds at 15 metres or less, some from an M4 rifle, not one hit the offender) and there wasn't even an independant investigation. Yet, the...
  4. Indiana State Police Mustang GT Fleet Reports For Duty

It's fraught situation. Having been on both sides, I see how a speeding offence could turn into something bigger. One of our guys stopped one of the biggest Australasian drug kingpins for speeding. Because we didn't have powers of search, or Police freq R/T's he couldn't search the car. If he...
  5. Ohioguy's Mustang Journey

I'm the same apart from the black bit, and being underwhelmed. I graduated from a turbo 4, the N/A V8 was a revelation
  6. 2025 Mustang GT quality issue - crankshaft main seal replacement and oil pan gasket leak

I had the Cupra version of that. It was excellent, but built in Germany. I guess it shows.
  7. First oil change for my GT at 1,620 miles - REMOTE AT MY HOME by Ford Mobile Service

I like the idea of mobile service, then I could keep an eye on them. But no main dealers seem to do it here.
  8. 2025 Mustang GT quality issue - crankshaft main seal replacement and oil pan gasket leak

You're right. Euro cars seem to start having problems a few years down the track when all the plastic bits are ageing and people skimp on maintenance.
  9. Trunk Lid Release Button Not Working

If you think that's embarrasing. I was driving cabs for a while, I saw a cabbie use touch unlocking on her Toyota. So I asked her about it and she showed how it worked. That night I was telling my wife about it, and she said our 6 month old GT86 has that.🙄
  10. 2025 Mustang GT quality issue - crankshaft main seal replacement and oil pan gasket leak

Of all the new cars I've had the most serious fault was clutch judder on a new Honda Prelude, a tail light full of water on a GT86, and a slight oil leak from a DSG cover on a Cupra Ateca. So, Jap - 2 euro - 1. US - none. So far🤞
  11. Custom Tray in front of shifter-any ideas

A contradiction in terms, or possibly an oxymoron, or both. PS I also had my first ride in a Model 3 Uber, super quiet, not much space in the back, but the ride made the Mustang feel like a limo.
  12. Nite Pony package should be cheaper for a black car

I like black cars, I'll never own one, my OCD would redline
  13. Automatic Folding Mirrors

It was in Cefalu, one of the streets just below the Rocca, Viccolo Anonimo I think, Google showed it as a through road, it wasn't. I literally had to fold the mirrors to get to a place I could turn in. Possibly not common, but we did see similar ones in Ercolano. I guess you'd get used to it if...
  14. Help me choose my 2025 GT!

I got red cars out of my system in the 80's. I don't mind it, just not for me. So it's blue for me, all shades except baby. And pastel.
  15. Meanwhile in Texas, S650 Holiday Light Setup

    That's car abuse, he's a carophile.
  16. Does anyone have any experience with transporters?

I saw a vid of a car transporter being transported unintentionally by a freight train. Luckily there was nothing of value on it, just a bunch of Teslas. But it did put me off. I did move my bike interisland with the furniture moving company. They tied it down, then made a cave of mattresses...
  17. Automatic Folding Mirrors

We had no choice, Google maps can be problematic in Italy. The car was not a Mustang luckily. It was a fully insured rental = indestructible.
  18. Does anyone have any experience with transporters?

I've done that with 3 new cars. A few hundred kms getting to know it, nice road trip and an excuse to go driving.
  19. Automatic Folding Mirrors

I found folding mirors an absolute necessity in some small Italian streets😰
