  1. Draw your own conclusions... BORLA

No, do not bring me into your shitfight. I was having a laugh.
  2. Indiana State Police Mustang GT Fleet Reports For Duty

You know what the motive is? The thrill of the chase, and "he's not going to beat me" attitude. We all had it to varying degrees, and it's worst in the younger guys. You do grow out of it, age brings wisdom, sometimes.
  3. Indiana State Police Mustang GT Fleet Reports For Duty

Yeah, that has often occurred to me. We did have a very low crash rate compared to regular Police though. 2 full training days a week for 3 months, track work with cars and bikes, off and on road with bikes and enforcement driving. It was very thorough. We did have a case a few years back where...
  4. Draw your own conclusions... BORLA

OK, I think you missed the banter part of my post. A joke in other words. I've have had a business, and have done retail sales, I know about dealing with awkward people, and good ones. I did really enjoy one job where the customer was always wrong though.
  5. Ford performance Whipple supercharger top speed?

I'd be surprised if they limited it to 104mph. Bloody Corollas would leave it for dead.
  6. Whipple performance on road race track?

If I was to play ontrack, I'd leave the engine stock and optimise the handling. The corner speeds Charoudin was pulling in his DH were phenominal. It's also a lot more impressive when you dive past someone under brakes, or pass mid corner.
  7. I Learned a Valuable Lesson Today

And, don't let your wife pack the spare key for the rental in the luggage that's in the trunk. The car won't lock, and it took 10 minutes of panic till we found out why.
  8. Ford performance Whipple supercharger top speed?

Well, if a stock GT PP is limited to 260kmh, another 2 or 3 hundred ponies should be a tad faster. limiter allowing.
  9. Draw your own conclusions... BORLA

Jeez, if I was him, I'd be worried now.😆
  10. Indiana State Police Mustang GT Fleet Reports For Duty

That's a really long way from the old Holdens and Cortinas we had as patrol cars. Although one was a Holden 308 Ute, but it had so much accident gear in it the performance was not great.
  11. My Pony has finally come HOME!

Oh bollocks, I never looked. Duh!
  12. My Pony has finally come HOME!

Congratulations. Lovely colour, great taste. It's very exciting, getting a new toy. I still pat mine when I go in the garage and Bonnie lights up with joy.😊
  13. New Member

Welcome. Have fun in here, nice car collection too. Watch that Ryan guy.😇
  14. Automatic Folding Mirrors

Mine does have the non existant folding mirrors. They fold with locking and can be retracted manually. My car is US spec RHD.
  15. Changing the Dark Horse rear spoiler with a duck tail spoiler?

No offence intended, but it's not to my taste. Probably due to all the crap ducktails that sprouted on all sorts of shit cars when the first Porsche turbo came out. But having said that the OP's one looks well integrated.
  16. Ford to reveal all-new road-going race car on January 15... GT500 successor?!

Yes, and then there's launch control. It's great, a fantastic boot up the backside when you let off the brake. But then try doing that in a cop infested place like NZ cities, you'll have your car impounded instantly for "unnecessary display of acceleration". Because there's no way a car launches...
  17. Car forgets settings

I've had to reset dash colours 2 or 3 times, no sign of an update though. Swearing helps.
  18. Does anyone know why Ford deleted wireless charging for S650 MY25?

It's enough to drive you nuts. But, the Mustang has been far superior to her cars system. I've only had one failure to connect and I think it was my doing.
  19. Ford to reveal all-new road-going race car on January 15... GT500 successor?!

Isn't the point being missed here? The GTD is not a drag strip demon, it's a road/track day marvel. Nearly every tester comments on how driver friendly it is as a daily driver. As for it's acceleration, even 3.5 secs to 60 is 7.66 metres per second squared, or 47 metres from stopped to 60 mph...
