You know what the motive is? The thrill of the chase, and "he's not going to beat me" attitude.
We all had it to varying degrees, and it's worst in the younger guys. You do grow out of it, age brings wisdom, sometimes.
Yeah, that has often occurred to me. We did have a very low crash rate compared to regular Police though. 2 full training days a week for 3 months, track work with cars and bikes, off and on road with bikes and enforcement driving. It was very thorough.
We did have a case a few years back where...
OK, I think you missed the banter part of my post. A joke in other words.
I've have had a business, and have done retail sales, I know about dealing with awkward people, and good ones.
I did really enjoy one job where the customer was always wrong though.
If I was to play ontrack, I'd leave the engine stock and optimise the handling.
The corner speeds Charoudin was pulling in his DH were phenominal.
It's also a lot more impressive when you dive past someone under brakes, or pass mid corner.

No offence intended, but it's not to my taste. Probably due to all the crap ducktails that sprouted on all sorts of shit cars when the first Porsche turbo came out.
But having said that the OP's one looks well integrated.
Yes, and then there's launch control. It's great, a fantastic boot up the backside when you let off the brake. But then try doing that in a cop infested place like NZ cities, you'll have your car impounded instantly for "unnecessary display of acceleration". Because there's no way a car launches...
It's enough to drive you nuts. But, the Mustang has been far superior to her cars system. I've only had one failure to connect and I think it was my doing.
Isn't the point being missed here? The GTD is not a drag strip demon, it's a road/track day marvel.
Nearly every tester comments on how driver friendly it is as a daily driver.
As for it's acceleration, even 3.5 secs to 60 is 7.66 metres per second squared, or 47 metres from stopped to 60 mph...
