  1. 2024 Mustang GT new purchase discount off MSRP

The profit margin for Ford isn’t even 10K friend… they are not building these to lose money (like EVs lol) yes, you’re gonna eat 10K depreciation the second you sign the papers, but that’s the cost to buy a new car.
  2. Any new rumors/hints on the possible 4 door based off the current Mustang?

I personally have friends over at FRAP… Nothing has rolled down the line to get paint. so, even if it’s coming there hasn’t even been a trial unit…. So I wouldn’t count on 2026 even, perhaps 27 or 28 which would make sense, I could see 2028, alongside the S650 refresh.
  3. Quickest Cars Under $35K Drag Race Competition by Hagerty - Mustang Ecoboost Included

Didn’t think they were tha expensive, must’ve been with EV credits or something
  4. Quickest Cars Under $35K Drag Race Competition by Hagerty - Mustang Ecoboost Included

Was a Tesla model 3 in the test? pretty sure they’re 35K and would’ve dominated
  5. Unreal depreciation

I just did a quick KBB and my 300a base 10spd GT (that was 43K) comes back at 36.5-38k Maybe 5-6K loss after a year and a half and 5,000 miles… maybe I pull the whipple and dump it… jkjk..
  6. Unreal depreciation

FFS don’t buy a grand Cherokee new, you’re gonna lose another 40 grand … maybe 50. I want to see how bad my depreciation comes back now
  7. Darkhorse has landed

    Matte wrap looks awesome
  8. ALL NEW JLT Cold Air Intake here at Lethal Performance!!

  9. 87 Octane

You won’t hear it, the Computer will pull timing and retard the cams. But it will show in the bearings over time.
  10. Official: Mustang GTD laps Nurburgring in 6:57.685

My money is on lightweight being nothing more than a fantasy… especially if hybrid is being involved… are you ready for a 4700lb base GT…
  11. 87 Octane

    Don’t, 93 is hardly adequate
  12. Mustang GTD documentary coming Dec. 10th

I don’t think the ZR1 will be able to make a complete lap all out. my money is on it goes into limp mode after 4-5 minutes on track. I don’t trust a brand new 1K hp Chevy FPC Ferrari copy paste engine. won’t be surprised if we never see a ring time for the ZR1.
  13. Dark Horse hp vs GT hp

@MAT1955 i can recall dozens of coyotes that cracked a piston, broke a ringland etc… I can barely remember 1 that a rod gave up and windowed the block, unless it was in conjunction with losing a piston. that was my only point, pistons and ring gaps are the weak point here… not rods.. And the...
  14. Official: Mustang GTD laps Nurburgring in 6:57.685

    It’s the only honest denominator.
  15. Official: Mustang GTD laps Nurburgring in 6:57.685

@noac @roket I am not talking “inflation calculator” you have to use the market to place a true value on not just inflation, but the time difference… like the Big Mac index. re do your Calc with the S&P 500, or SPX 12,999 in 1988 … IS 290K in today’s “market adjusted” dollars… and it’s far...
  16. Official: Mustang GTD laps Nurburgring in 6:57.685

That $12,999 base coupe market adjust to…. TWO HUNDRED NINETY THOUSAND DOLLARS in 2024… yep… 290K… By all comparisons a fully loaded Dark horse would cost HALF of the LX, and is superior in every way.
  17. Mustang GTD documentary coming Dec. 10th

Go join the c8 Facebook groups… it’s 100k deposit on ADM just to make the list at dealerships as of now.
  18. Mustang GTD documentary coming Dec. 10th

350k mustang VS 350K vette…. what a time to be alive!!!
  19. Mustang GTD documentary coming Dec. 10th

    Surprised this hasn’t leaked yet.
  20. Unreal depreciation

Options don’t add a ton to value after the initial buy, also convertibles in general are always hit the hardest… my 24GT was 43k… so different options packages but it’s the same car. also by trying to sell within the 1st few years, you are eating maximum depreciation.
