I like the base better, they are super cushy, comfy and have heat/air…
The recaros look sick as hell, awesome to ride in, I’m 6ft 185lbs, snug to my sides… but after a few hours… most will prefer the comforts
I’d love to see any of these back tested against stock tune /E30 like a lot of people did, because that was worth like 3mph roughly 30HP on average.
I do agree trans tuning and throttle input will make the cars feel a lot better still
The biggest risk with straight E85 tune is that you are tuned on a lower percentage say mid 70s from pump E85, and you fill up again and get some pure ass E85 90 plus ethanol, you run the risk of going lean if it’s beyond your fuel system/trims Margin of error to compensate.
The whipple tuning isn’t gonna be worth it either… forget 1k
id1300s are gonna be 2 grand, return fuel system another 2 grand or more, then the tuning device and tune…
it’ll be 5-6 thousand bucks to put a whipple car on E85…
Man that stage 2 kit was a bargain when it’s all said and done.
Thankfully this is such a robust fully engineered motor that ford has been making better and better for 15 years…
I didn’t give a 2nd thought to my engine warranty, get a few hundred miles on it to make sure nothing catastrophic from assembly and you’re good to go!!
I’m cracking up, because people are DEFINITELY out here racing dynos 🤣
I almost never dyno my setups and all people seem to care about is “what it makes on the dyno”… I’m like F if I know traps high 140s 🤷
Just funny how caught up in it folks get, that new ZR1 supposedly made over 1000 to the...
Shops are moving fast, PBD has a hellion TT car getting tuned already, Beefcake is working the tune on his whipple car, just watched a N/A dark horse hitting 8300 rpm shifts lol
MT82 car… maybe a touch more rpm, throttle response… more of an exciting driving tune… gotta be some TQ gains under the curve… and they’ll claim the HP gains from the point of RPM extension.
A10 should give much stronger shifts and above mentions.
