At the track it gets outta the hole like a stick car, you’ll be hitting the gas pedal and can feel the clutch engaging/disengaging
It was more about how a proper tq converter/10r would’ve made the 350 less doggy…
People keep bringing up DCT, they get off the line like a stick car too…

A proper spec torque converter would be the game changer for it being a dog, and the 10 gear stack would keep it in it’s sweet spot singing… could’ve ran 10s NA off the showroom floor and still “be a track car”
I’m suspicious how many DCT 500s you guys drive, it definitely has its own quirks...
WTF…. They must’ve went stage 1 and tried to go as slow as possible…. 11.6…. I’d burn it to the Fn ground.
The GT really just outshines the dark horse
Go and watch all of Julian bourg’s vids on YouTube and Facebook
He used to be on here also, he did the stage 1 and had tremendous results, all documented, blower install, suspension, axles, exhaust, street drives, pulls, track vids… he left an extensive video library

Yeah these aren’t meant to be blown road course cars, drag strip 100%.
If you want to road course stay N/A, even that will have overheat issues after awhile.
Best to just go Miata at that point.
Coming from another base GT owner, forget that, biggest instant improvement came from steeda cradle bushings and locating dowels, also steeda progressive lowering springs.
Tie-ing the IRS into the chassis really changes handling for the better.
Yeah, I’ve never seen whipple tune cars clicking off 8s and 9s so easily before (S550 era), especially without fuel systems, ID1300s etc…
So I’m all ears/eyes to see what aftermarket tuners will be able to pull off!!
I’d go stage 2 without the warranty over FRPP dealer install with warranty
differences include throttle body size, lower boost pulley, tuning limits on top speed and rpm
