The increased heat in the exhaust from the supercharger can destroy the cats, if they get clogged up you can build up a ton of pressure and damage your pistons. So you are essentially risking your entire engine by running the factory cats or low-quality aftermarket cats...
You get what you pay for. Give it a shot if you want.
