Shelby Unveils New 810-HP GT350 And GT350R, Plans To Return To Racing
No flat plane crank no care J/K
But yeah- trying to understand the difference between this and the Super Snake outside of some suspension bits and different body panels?
That I understand...
on the 16s and early 17s they had the spin on oil filters that would vibrate off ...yeah just it seems like there was a ton of issues with the 16s and 17s spontaneously ending themselves as yours did....
I believe it was early 18 that they figured out their choice of rings...
Oh I meant about the Mustang looking like a 911 .....
But while not quite old man status......turning 50 next month..... I bought and sold muscle cars to pay my way through school - just sold my 67 Shelby GT500 a few years ago...
Also just sold my 56 Ford Victoria with a built 428CJ
Other...
Im going to say .....the problem with the Mach 1 was that it followed the GT350...... not that there is anything wrong with the Mach 1 - I love me a Mach 1 HP car in Eruption Green......
I also wouldnt get too crazy on saying the people are lining up the door for the Dark Horse either- same...
Id rather buy a Dark Horse then a Hellcat
Hellcats are just too....big ...I get it ....awesome drag cars but way too big for any kind of cornering fun.... it feels like your driving a lowered truck instead of a car.....
Camaros - cornering fun is there but I just dont like the visibility...
I think there are some similarities in model line ups
GT = 911
Dark Horse/Mach 1 = 911 S (lots of performance upgrades over base 911/GT)
GT350 = GT3 (high revving NA motor focus on handling)
GT350R = GT3 RS
GT500 = GT2 (forced induction performance)
GT500 CFTP = GT2 RS
GTD = 918...
Good point- but even if you took the more robust parts and subtracted out the cost for the EcoBoost parts- how much could the variance really be?
I cant imagine a driveshaft for a GT is that much more expensive then that for an EcoBoost - same for a larger radiator - or shocks even....Im sure...
To follow up with what you are saying
Coyote crate motors look to be around 11K with EcoBoost Crate motors around 5K - so 6K difference just in the motor......I kind of doubt there is another 8K difference in the transmission and rear end ...what other differences are there between the...
But its so much fun being a keyboard warrior and pretending like we are smarter regardless of the facts that they probably have access to data we could only dream of lol
Well I think they should keep fighting and your taste in beer is great for a college kid.....
sorry I kid I kid lol
but if we are talking about alcohol I do have a few suggestions on beer you might enjoy......lol
My predictions.....
GT
Dark Horse
Some supercharged car w the Predator DCT combo that has a slight bump in power over the S550 GT500 and styling hints from the GTD
I like the Dark Horse but hate the name.... I mean if you are going to get rid of Boss/ Cobra exc. you might as well get rid of...
or they could be renewing it so Dodge doesnt launch a new cross over EV and call it the Boss
that being said....would be REALLY cool if they launched a new Boss - but I think it would overlap with the Dark Horse
