Could be, have a 2010 Charger R/T, Auto, total POS, though stomp on it and the tires burn. I'm still taking it a little easy, still under 1K miles, yet to experience a burnout, guess I expected with dual throttle body and 486HP I would have to fight not to.
Haha, know the feeling, I am averaging 10MPG. I had an 88GT when I was 16, can't believe I survived to tell... I swear that had a better throttle response than the 24 though, I have about a half second delay between when I hit the gas and response just revvin the engine. How does yours respond?
Oh yeah, inside all I can hear is the badass exhaust, maybe that's why Ford keeps the Cuyote loud, cover up all the noises. Gonna hear everything once they get rid of the ICE😝
Geico, 2 cars + home bundled, GT Premium only added $63 a month and without a tracking device.
Usually switch companies every few years to get competitive rates
In any mode, With the car idle, in park or neutral, revving the engine, there is a quick suction/vacuum sound, top front center of the engine and about a 500ms delay between pedal and the rev, is this normal?
Has the same feel on launch in any mode, I just chalked that up to gearing, 3.15
That is the sound. Couldn't find any 24 GT's, though found several videos of noisy PCV valve, mostly on older cars using non OEM replacements, something with the spring. Love to hear some of y'all engines at idle, want to avoid dealer service dept unless absolutely needed. I'll throw a new one...
Favor of my fellow 24 GT owners, can you post a video or sound clip of your engine hood up idling? Curios to hear how common this is. Be greatly appreciated, want to avoid dealer unless absolutely necessary.
I usually shy from first year, got burnt on the "84 Corvette. I like the 24 too much to risk a chance of a change in 25 I don't like or the phase out of ICE... running out of time on that
No problems so far on mine, exceeded all expectations for me. Biggest concern is the screen, if it's a...
My order was one of the last without it, was glad I missed it. I know it defaults to on though doesn't the first button disable it?
Thinking that was going to bug the shit out of me, I find the drive mode defaulting to "Normal" more annoying. Wish I could use the Favorite button for my custom...
It's global warming😝 Seriously though, yes, In my case I live in the northeast, winter now 25 degrees out. Auto mode I can remote start, within a few minutes get in the car, it is warm and ready to go. Heated wheel, warm seats, windows defrosted, my other cars take at least 10 - 20 minutes.
Have...
I quit checking that spreadsheet because there are so many variables on an order. Some take a month others are still waiting. Mine took about 7 months, though I had many constraints during the process.
Bottom line, I knew exactly what I wanted, I ordered it exactly to spec, and then just...
Yes this is not far down as the pulley. If you can scope it that would be great. Like I said, as long as it does not cause and issue, the noise doesn't bother me. Just curious as to what it is. Maybe wrong venue, though I must thank you for your service.
That was the first thing I thought, though the sound is not that far down. I don't have a scope though I have a high sensitive field mic, maybe I can try that
