  1. Still deciding Dark Horse HP-6sp vs SC

No more Grabber Blue? How dare they! I guess mine has just increased in value by $100 now.
  2. Ford Mustang GTD approved for Australia, with a catch

Over the ditch here we can register and drive LHD cars if they've been owned overseas for a year, or are older classic cars. No provisions like that in OZ?
  3. How's your splitter holding up

Don't hit stuff. Seriously though, a front cam aimed down so you can see the splitter sorted that out for me.
  4. Anyone else have these alignment issues?

It's quite normal to see that in many cars. Those plastic parts are made to "near enough is good enough" tolerances. Do what Mr King suggests.
  5. Did You KNow Propane Is Explosive?

Not to mention acetylene. I went to van fire one time, it was fully involved when my shift partner and I got there and we went to check if anyone was inside. We had a look then started to walk back. No one told us there was a gas welding kit in there, the acetylene bottle cooked off, blew the...
  6. OEM Brake Pads

He reckons the Bridgstone was awesome in the wet. Times certainly said so.
  7. 6:40.8 Nurburgring Lap Time: New Mustang GTD COMPETITION Crushes Own Record 🏁

It's a pre-production prototype class, and I can't find any reference to the tyres allowed. Slicks are definitely out for production cars.
  8. 6:40.8 Nurburgring Lap Time: New Mustang GTD COMPETITION Crushes Own Record 🏁

Great job Mr Ford. I'm waiting to see what Misha does when the DH is finished.
  9. 6:40.8 Nurburgring Lap Time: New Mustang GTD COMPETITION Crushes Own Record 🏁

Tried to buy a GT3RS, or any top line Ferrari if you are not already a regular customer?
  10. The Coyote of Justice is on the prowl

All the track days and driving courses cannot prepare you for high speed driving in traffic. Awareness, anticipation and a healthy dose of luck are as important as driving skill. Experience is also a great teacher. Because we were driving fast so often, our accident rate was way lower than...
  11. Two types of kids I don't liek

From you're reply, I'm assuming you're under 30? Hence the reason you take everything as a personal affront. And struggle with written comprehension It was a generality and a piss take with a grain of truth. Zoomies are the generally the most overly sensitive, easily upset and arguably most...
  12. The Coyote of Justice is on the prowl

I had fun in unmarked patrol cars, people were so surprised when the flashers and siren went on. Except during the '79 fuel crisis. The bosses wanted to be seen to "do something" about fuel economy. So they gave us a near fluorescent green Holden Kingswood 202ci red six running on CNG and 3 spd...
  13. Where manuals at? (I'm angry all the time)

I have to confess, I find I have to focus on using paddles, but even driving a manual LHD car became natural after 5 minutes. I also think left hand drive is the natural and correct way to drive.
  14. Two types of kids I don't liek

Yes, the ancient Greeks also moaned about the kids. But at least theirs didn't count genders in the hundreds.
  15. Redefining what a Mustang GT is "supposed" to sound like?

Yep. I knew nothing of the Coyote, then I saw the specs. This is definitely a modern age engine. Up with the best N/A designs. It may not match the dodici cilindri in power per litre, but Ferrari don't build them by the thousands or sell those cars for under $100k either.
  16. My noise complaints '25

That's OK, I like stream of unconsciousness ramblings
  17. My noise complaints '25

She needs putin in her place.
  18. OEM Brake Pads

    This was interesting.
  19. Where manuals at? (I'm angry all the time)

In an ideal world I'd have a DH manual for road trips and a GT auto soft top for daily driving.
  20. Redefining what a Mustang GT is "supposed" to sound like?

I came out of the supermarket yesterday to find a middle aged woman and two young kids wandering around my car pointing at things and generally having a good look. I got in and she said we're just waiting to hear it start, I haven't seen a new Mustang before. So I fired it up to big smiles all...
