  1. Center Console Cubby Light Does Not Turn Off ?

The last car I owned that had a center console light was my 1989 Taurus SHO. Can't say I've ever seen one since. What the heck are you driving?
  2. SEMA 2025 Mustang News

No one can say he doesn't like Mustangs! One of the better videos on the 2025 SEMA. There is one issue about Las Vegas, which parallels the show's extravagance—the hotel prices! Imagine over $200+ a night for staying at a lowly (?) Holiday Inn! Makes me wonder if the beds are trimmed in carbon...
  3. 2025 gt bcm recall

I dropped my Eco-Boost sedan off at 7:30, picked it up at 2:30. Maybe convertibles take longer, but I don't know why?
  4. unique tuning?

It should go without mentioning... There is more to the Dark Horse than just the tranny. The engine's internals are different (stronger) and can better handle the extra loads imposed by a Whipple add-on.
  5. Drift Brake - So who has tried it?

This is obviously a dangerous tactic which should be reserved for track events. Oh! And paid up insurance premiums!
  6. Now here's something you dont see everyday...

There are several colors I'd like to see, but my mother would washout my mouth for suggesting them!
  7. Now here's something you dont see everyday...

That has got to be a wrap! I don't think a Mary Kay rep would ever think Mustang. Unless, of course, her physique warranted it!
  8. BCM recall - photo of one being fixed

One thing I noticed yesterday, was the loudness level of entry chime as well as the chime itself has changed. I don't think the BCM recall included a firmware update?
  9. Oil Change Interval

One would assume the algorithm for turbo and blower vehicles is different than non ones? Whatever, but my Eco-Boost is due in ≈400 miles (2,650 on the OD, and 14+ months old) for its second oil change. Maintenance is cheap compared to replacement!
  10. Is it me, or is Ford trying to be a Bigger Big Brother?

I drive in Sports Mode most of the time, as it seems to be the best mode for stop&go driving. I have the traction control turned off in the setup for Sports Mode, however, you have actually turn it off via the Skid-icon. If memory serves, you used to be able to turn off the Stability Control...
  11. BCM recall - photo of one being fixed

I just had my recall done yesterday. And yes, you can't see the sealant once the covers go back on. I looked at it at the dealer, and again once I got it back home. I see nothing to complain about.
  12. Faster GTD prototype testing at the 'ring

What's with the rear rims, fender flare trim, and exhaust outlets? It may help the track timing, but they're butt ugly!
  13. So this just happened and I'm so angry!!!

I had a worse scenario happen when I lived in Littleton Colorado. My brand-new Mercury Mystic (one day into ownership!) got hit from a rather large rock rolling down a foothill next to the I470. It hit the hood, crashed almost through the windshield damaging the top of the dash. It was an Oh...
  14. I’m keeping my 2025 Mustang GT Stock -

This thread hasn't been haunting me, nonetheless I went out and looked for used 2024/2025 Mustangs. There 'were' two almost identical 2025s (save for color). Both Premiums, one dead stock as far as I could tell, the other had an added rear wing and after-market (non stock) rims. The stock one...
  15. Ford Secure is coming to the end (EU)

Being pragmatic about this discontinuance... It probably will be moved in house. After all, Ford Connect is becoming more profound as time goes on. Another good example is inter-vehicle communications. While touted as a safety feature, it is yet another Big-Brother addition to the mix. We're all...
  16. I got the BCM Recall

Mine came yesterday, with the appointment set for the 23rd. Two day deal they tell me, and I can even get a free loner if I wanted one. I'll just drive my Ranger, thank you!
  17. Sunglass holder in overhead console - issues

I use mine each time I drive the car, or about 4 times per week. Never have had any issues with the holder.
  18. 2026 Mustang RTR: Drift-Ready from the Factory: Inside the Development

I can't imagine only 7 replies to this thread. If the RTR was based on the V8 GT, the thread would have a dozen or more pages by now! Come on guys, let us not short-change the Eco-Boost. As Will2 mentioned, there is nothing to be ashamed about. One comparison about the GT... Corner really...
  19. Mustang Unleashed Driving (Track) Experience - Report

Yes they do! But they're much closer to a tombstone than most of us wish to be!
  20. Flex fuel tune check engine

My first question would be... Are you sure it was E40? From Google: To measure the ethanol percentage in gasoline, mix a known volume of gasoline with an equal volume of water in a graduated cylinder, shake it, and let it settle. The amount of liquid that separates below the original water...
