There are companies that offer tuning for the magneride suspension in Corvettes - I was considering buying a C7 Z06 at one point, and the forum members for that car raved about the magneride tunes of one person in particular, claiming that it vastly increased the handling, especially on keeping...
@w00tcamp , Do you still have the original wheels and the DHP1 wheels that you declared bent? I ask because maybe you can doublecheck your conclusion with instruments and measuring. I find it odd that you did not feel in vibration or anything if the wheels were truly bent. Also, you said you...
A good overview to the Apex VS-5 line, which shows the barrel design clearly so that it is easy to see why an 18" might fit over the Dark Horse's enormous rotor and caliper. Also a good overview of the difference between flow formed and forged and the enduro.
Thanks for the responses, and thank you for that video.
Interesting about the 18 x 12 wheel with the 315/30ZR18 Yokohama tire - I see it fits over the caliper, but could you actually run it on the track on that Dark Horse?
Since they ran it on their S550, I guess I will have to do more...
There are definitely some 18" that will fit over it, as they design the barrel to extend away from centerline (so that the barrel gives more clearance than the 18" rim area would indicate, if that makes sense), but I do not know if any of the manufacturers will guarantee that it fits your Dark...

Here I am this morning after getting ready for church.
Don't try the drift brake!!!!
I lived in Deutschland from 1987-89 and drove a 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 with T-tops, into which I had swapped a larger engine with a large cam (very lopey idle), headers and a Holley 4 barrel with a good intake, and improved cylinder heads. Folks would stop doing whatever they were doing...
I have never used it for parking or drifting.
If I ever do, I am afraid I will have to start wearing sideways baseball caps and sport jerseys for shirts while replying "Word" whenever somebody says something I agree with, and every other sentence will have to be, "Know what I'm sayin'?"
On Mustangs, with the different width of the front and rear tracks (backspacing is 20 some odd mm different required, more on front, less on rear), guys running 10-11" wheels who want to be able to rotate tires are using spacers so that the wheels can all have the same backspacing. Leave the...
