ridiculous i know. my 16 yr old daughter rates the sound of a car's flasher. she finds the s650 rates pretty high actually. this coming from the guy who'll sit with the truck door open, keys in the ignition, door chiming away while I write up my job paperwork though 😉
my fedex driver is also horrible. my oil supplier ships FedEx now and i swear he just rolls pony drums out the back door. not sure how they haven't blown one up. I agree with others though on packing. the boxes would have to be pretty beat up like wheel edges exposed to cause that. sad because...
i was also going to mention 10" was optimal for 275 tires so maybe going to 20x10 would be ideal. now you can go 275 all around but probably need forscan to change tire circumference
ive got a dark horse non hp. 255/275 on (i think) 19 x 9.5/10 wheels. i would love to go a little wider on tire but that setup feels great. planted. i beat the snot out of it given the opportunity. so in my case, wheel vs tire size matters. i would worry with that with tire width, you lose some...
the car also automatically throttles up a bit when you slip the clutch, helping to prevent stalls. which can sometimes be a little annoying when you're barely trying to creep, but probably good for newer drivers. i haven't figured out how to turn just that feature off.
I had an old 76 Dodge my dad and i hacked up and shortened into a little red express. if you weren't close (to kick it down) on a cold morning that choke and idle cam would end up revving that thing to the moon
we didn't get the chance. actual county sheriff turned up at a light a few cars ahead of us... right after he revved the piss out of his car, then turned off to let me inch on alongside the sheriff 😬
I am totally that guy that has already considered buying factory seat skins and tossing them in a box.. you know just in case mine start to show wear sometime. I'm glad to see it can be done and feel like you did a great job. do you mind throwing up a link for that listing?
