I like that... I made one like that using two different "off the shelf" spacers... cost a little less (not by much) but required some time to put it together.
The staggered setup would look better... the commonly used 25mm spacer would push wheel out too far... a smaller spacer may require cutting wheel studs for a bolt on spacer, or longer wheel studs for slip on spacer.

Last 3 gens that I have owned have had it... I have mentioned this in more of these "hood lift" threads than I can count. For S197 and S650 just a little adjustment of the stops was all that was needed. For the S550, raising the stops enough to stop the flutter put the front of the hood higher...
Yes, carbon fiber can be painted... once it is, it is just like any other paint and ceramic will be fine... though you may have to give the paint time to cure before ceramic application.
They will fit fine... as for lining up in the rear, they won't be flush with the fenders if that's what you are looking for, they will still be in a bit.
