Those marks are probably from the spring compressors when installing them to the struts. Most clunks are from the top hats, or the endlinks. Glad you found your issue. I had to troubleshoot my coilover noises for months.

@rugedraw not sure whats going onand how much you can check online , but kind of weird that since taking my car to the dealership I've had two updates, a "steering fault" error, and somehow my speedo is now calibrated to my new wheels. VIN: 1FA6P8CF1R5404130

You only need to press 1 button. Not a big deal, and its been discussed as to why there is a need to revert to "normal" mode after drives. Emissions, Safety being the main two reasons.

Thats what the "M" mode is for, it makes the trans shift manually. You can redline and hit the limiter until you hit the paddle.
