Well I have gone from S550 to S650 and am very happy - the car is significantly better in many ways. I would not agree with any of the points in your post. Coupes of all types would be selling well if what you say is correct - they aren't - there is a reason for that.

Ahh but it ISN'T cool any more as you say. People find SUV's cool now not coupes. The coupe is largely dead now. Even the big coupe makers like Mercedes have combined the C class coupe and E class coupe into a single model the CLE because sales are low.

There is a very simple reason why the Mustang is selling less and less. It is a coupe and people don't want coupes any more In the old days if you wanted high performance you needed a sports car, now everyday cars are as fast or faster, easier to drive, easy to get in and out of, more practical...
