Mostly spirited driving, highway pulls for fun every now and then; maybe roll racing. It’s a daily driver, so I don’t see the need for drag radials as most of my driving is near a city and on weekends I can have fun driving on canyon roads and such and on highways
True, I just preferred your answer you just gave cuz it’s straight forward and to the point or a detailed answer like the other post. Thanks for the answer, Cheers! Hope you have a good Memorial Day weekend!
You’re right! It’s just something I noticed when reading and posting in this forum. It’s hard to get actual answers and just have a civil discussion in my opinion. But it’s hard to find that anywhere on the internet I guess. I was just hoping for a technical answer or more normal conversation...
Makes sense. I’m just wondering, and was asking a question. I’ve noticed that people tend to ridicule and make jokes.
But it’s understandable. The more I ask questions, the more I’m regretting even joining the community.
I'm sure there are dozens of threads and posts about this. But I was wondering what is the best tire and wheel setup for forced induction? I currently have 19x8.5 wheels and 255/40/19 Michelin Pilot All Season 4 tires. From what I've researched, people recommend running drag radials, but they...
The suspension tuning is better, magneride comes standard, forged internals are better from what I recall (if you go forced induction and are hoping to build a 1000 hp+ car, this will be important), torsen differential. Cons are gas guzzler tax, mileage is worse (smiles per gallon > miles per...
@Diodict that's awesome! How much were all the parts? And was the installation hard? Wondering if you could put together a step by step guide for the not as skilled folks like me :D
great job btw
Does anyone know if any of the S550 Brake kits will fit on the s650? Looking at the 2015-2023 bullitt brake kit, but I'm not 100% sure if the brakes on the s650 are completely different or will fit the same. If not, are there any brake kits that are recommended for the base GT to upgrade to?
i don't have the performance pack and have similar driving habits. Just using it as my daily driver to commute and do chores. To me, the car is still really fun and suits my driving style and habits. What I do wish is that they had the PP spoiler as a separate option because that thing looks...
@Diodict can you keep this thread posted if you are successful in the entire installation? would be very interested to do this as a project as well and will follow the steps you take
I have also received confirmation from my local installer who I got the kit through that mines is shipping next week with an install date also. Super excited!
For what it's worth, I emailed a ford dealership/service center with these parts, and they said either do it yourself or find a willing mechanic because the process involved would be expensive and require multiple days to install and reprogram the computer. So sounds like it is possible, but be...
No worries haha it’s just opinions. I like it a lot! Plus whenever a better one comes out in the future can just replace it! What spoiler would you replace it with? :o
Removed the trunk lip spoiler per the instructions. Their instructions are pretty clear, and there's a video. Only tricky part was cleaning up the factory adhesive from the OEM spoiler and as mentioned in my post getting the bolts out correctly. I messed up on that, so whenever I move my...
Have not seen any real aftermarket spoiler that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, so went with the Steeda GT500! Looks amazing and very happy with it. Side note, if anyone has tips on how to get bolts out of the trunk because my dumbass did not follow instructions correctly, that would be greatly...
