No weight loss....very disappointed.
Overall I like the looks of the car but there really isn't anything different about the car compared to the S550. It's just a slightly improved S550.
Anyone have the spec sheet on the Dark Horse S and R?....and the GT3 car?
Front: I actually like it. That hood better be a vent and not a scoop though.
Rear: nope. Taillights look like cheap crap from American Muscle and I actually really liked the black panel between the taillights. Sad that it's gone but easy to fix.
Exterior overall: why are so many manufacturers...
I don't know, it looks too similar to the S550. I'm really afraid there won't be enough change to warrant buying one.
I hope I'm wrong. Hell, if it looks the same and uses the same engine but comes with double wishbone suspension and swapped out a lot of steel for aluminum, I'd be very happy...
Haven't seen it discussed before but how does everyone else feel about the hood scoop?
Personally, I don't like it at all.
1. I think it's a reference to older carbureted cars but with current tech, it's just not needed.
2. Unless they do get a decent ram-air effect from it, that location is a...
This car could definitely be a Mustang. Since Ford decided to rebrand the name, anything could be a Mustang.
We now live in a world where an SUV is a "Mustang." The name now has the same meaning as "NISMO" or BMW's "M" line. Hell, I'm surprised they called it the F150 Lightning...why not call...
I agree with @Hack , mustangs are already fat pigs. The GT500 is 4200 lbs...imagine that with AWD?? No thank you.
Transaxle and all-aluminum construction aimed around 3400 lbs would amazing. I guess that'd be a corvette....yep, I definitely want a corvette
You are the type of person this thread is complaining about....just so you're aware.
We'd rather have dirty wheels and fast lap times than style points while hard-parking.
This is me venting a bit so fair warning...
I see so many people complain about brake dust on M6G on the PP cars.
People...performance brake pads are going to dust. If dust bothers you so much, you probably shouldn't have bought the performance model.
With so many complaints, I hope Ford...
It weighs so much because the frame is entirely steel.
Look at the Civic Type R. 3100 lbs with an all-aluminum chassis.
Ford already made the F150 all-aluminum. The mustang deserves to be all-aluminum and in doing so, will shave off several hundred pounds.
I agree. If the S650 doesn't lose some...
Mustang entering GT3 racing in 2024
Granted, the current GT350 is already used as a GT4 level car but this could be great news for the S650, performance-wise. Should be lots of factory support behind this next car in making it seriously fast
2023 model year and still ZERO confirmed info or spy shots??
I'm starting to think the S650 project as a whole has been severely delayed. They should be testing this on the road by now and yet no one has seen one? Unfortunately, I doubt this car comes out on time.
I don't know why I'm getting...
I want a 350R on steroids. Keep the engine but with Viper ACR amounts of aero.
They gave the 500 a good amount of aero but made it a fat pig.
Goals: 9000rpm redline, 3500-3600 lbs, 40-50% body weight in downforce at 160mph, under $100k
