  1. 2024 Mustang GT California Special Package Revealed w/ Rave Blue Accent Styling, Wheels & Graphics

let’s cut the crap here ford needs to make the CS pack more special, it doesn’t need the DH engine because that’s already a joke, honestly it would of been cooler if they added a special performance pack that focused on comfort but got all the DH goodies. It’s just another appearance package...

As a UAW employee i want to say safely, “WE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS CAR” lmfao
  3. E85...What are your thoughts?

all cars made after 05 or 08 i can’t remember the model year are required to run e15 from the factory now i don’t recommend running e85 on the stock tune but you can use it as a cheap octane booster, throw in an gallon and then 91/93 it’s great for that
  4. E85...What are your thoughts?

People read way way way too far into running e85 and or flex fuel tunes 1) make sure you drive the car a bit harder because your oil won’t burn off the extra water that gets absorbed, and it’s really not that big of a deal but don’t start the car, run it 5 miles and stop lol over time doing...
  5. Stock Dark Horse Mustang Dyno Results: 428 WHP / 379 LB-FT (Hennessey Performance)

A couple things to note 1) much like ported manifold the gains from carbon trap removal seem to be all over the place, but one consistent thing I’ve seen is big gains down low and it’s free so why not. Also porting plastic intake manifolds is kind of an art because while you can get a few hp...

That’s what happened too Ducati on the 2023 streetfigher V4 it’s a mid model year refresh. New tank, faster Ecu, updated quick shifter. Ducati released the bikes and had a bug that keep the active exhaust valve closed in 2nd gear “ fly by noise regulations, wink wink” and would result in the...
  8. Dark horse redline discussion

But you’re right we really do need someone to get a real log or video of it at 7250rpm Also i doubt it’s related to the drive modes, that’s an oversight on Ford’s part, normally they just modify the throttle response, maybe play some games with part throttle manifold pressure aka closing the...

Middleton Motorsports couldn’t rev it past 7300, it’s confirmed
  10. Dark horse redline discussion

Those don’t count and fly by noise regulations are crap. It’s really bad in the motorcycle world, a lot of brands just nerfs the throttle to keep the noise down. Unfortunately it wouldn’t surprise me on bit if my theory is true, also they can only test production cars. So the oems don’t find out...
  11. Dark horse redline discussion

It could potentially be a drive line issue like they don’t trust the drive shaft or something stupid like that. But man the more i think about it, it’s very likely to be a noise issue. Remember the gearing is the same as the mach 1 and GT350, 1:1 is 5th not 4th like the Mt82 in the GT
  12. Dark horse redline discussion

Yeah i doubt that lol it’s the same unit from the GT350 and mach 1.
  13. Stangmode 1/4 mile run

I seriously doubt it’s short shifting more than likely fords got a lot of limiters in the Ecu, preventing it from shifting super aggressively. Tuning would fix that issue

    What are you talking about
  15. Stangmode 1/4 mile run

    Pretty much lmfao
  16. Stangmode 1/4 mile run

Well if ya wanna actually race not too much lol 😂 i know a lot of guys that don’t touch them
  17. Dark horse redline discussion

I wanted to make an open discussion about the 7250 limiter on the manual transmission dark horse and discuss the possibilities of why it’s there 1) “a break in limiter” i seriously doubt this first of all ford would tell you in the manual of such a thing they can just throw in a break in...
  18. 2024 Dark Horse Mustang Dyno Results (6-Speed Manual) - by Middleton Motorsports

I seriously seriously doubt there is a break in redline limiter, they would have to let the customers know of such a thing. On top of that what’s the point of having such a limiter when it’s 250rpm before redline, that makes absolutely no sense. So yeah no lol what’s going on here is ford didn’t...
  19. Stangmode 1/4 mile run

Even though i can’t stand the dude i don’t think this was really his fault other than he should have just said screw and launch it hard af. He wasn’t really brake torquing it all that much
  20. Stangmode 1/4 mile run

It’s not a dual clutch so from what I’ve seen going into manual mode, causes more issues than it solves lol leave it in auto and get a good tune on it
