letâs cut the crap here ford needs to make the CS pack more special, it doesnât need the DH engine because thatâs already a joke, honestly it would of been cooler if they added a special performance pack that focused on comfort but got all the DH goodies. Itâs just another appearance package...
all cars made after 05 or 08 i canât remember the model year are required to run e15 from the factory now i donât recommend running e85 on the stock tune but you can use it as a cheap octane booster, throw in an gallon and then 91/93
itâs great for that
People read way way way too far into running e85 and or flex fuel tunes
1) make sure you drive the car a bit harder because your oil wonât burn off the extra water that gets absorbed, and itâs really not that big of a deal but donât start the car, run it 5 miles and stop lol over time doing...
A couple things to note
1) much like ported manifold the gains from carbon trap removal seem to be all over the place, but one consistent thing Iâve seen is big gains down low and itâs free so why not. Also porting plastic intake manifolds is kind of an art because while you can get a few hp...

Thatâs what happened too Ducati on the 2023 streetfigher V4 itâs a mid model year refresh. New tank, faster Ecu, updated quick shifter. Ducati released the bikes and had a bug that keep the active exhaust valve closed in 2nd gear â fly by noise regulations, wink winkâ and would result in the...
But youâre right we really do need someone to get a real log or video of it at 7250rpm
Also i doubt itâs related to the drive modes, thatâs an oversight on Fordâs part, normally they just modify the throttle response, maybe play some games with part throttle manifold pressure aka closing the...
Those donât count and fly by noise regulations are crap. Itâs really bad in the motorcycle world, a lot of brands just nerfs the throttle to keep the noise down. Unfortunately it wouldnât surprise me on bit if my theory is true, also they can only test production cars. So the oems donât find out...
It could potentially be a drive line issue like they donât trust the drive shaft or something stupid like that. But man the more i think about it, itâs very likely to be a noise issue. Remember the gearing is the same as the mach 1 and GT350, 1:1 is 5th not 4th like the Mt82 in the GT
I seriously doubt itâs short shifting more than likely fords got a lot of limiters in the Ecu, preventing it from shifting super aggressively. Tuning would fix that issue
I wanted to make an open discussion about the 7250 limiter on the manual transmission dark horse and discuss the possibilities of why itâs there
1) âa break in limiterâ i seriously doubt this first of all ford would tell you in the manual of such a thing they can just throw in a break in...
I seriously seriously doubt there is a break in redline limiter, they would have to let the customers know of such a thing. On top of that whatâs the point of having such a limiter when itâs 250rpm before redline, that makes absolutely no sense. So yeah no lol whatâs going on here is ford didnât...
Even though i canât stand the dude i donât think this was really his fault other than he should have just said screw and launch it hard af. He wasnât really brake torquing it all that much
Itâs not a dual clutch so from what Iâve seen going into manual mode, causes more issues than it solves lol leave it in auto and get a good tune on it
